Patriots HOF or nah?
Is there any question? I'd be surprised if the Patriots weren't making plans to retire his number as we speak.

Top 6 are alright imo

Looking forward to the WR battles during training camp. I'd say right now there are two definite locks(Edleman and Harry) and I'd probably include Dorsett as a lock as well.

Updated look at the Patriots WR depth after Bruce Ellington's release:

Julian Edelman
N'Keal Harry
Demaryius Thomas
Phillip Dorsett
Maurice Harris
Braxton Berrios
Damoun Patterson
Jakobi Meyers
Ryan Davis
Xavier Ubosi
Matthew Slater (STs)
Josh Gordon (suspended)

As long as that number wasn’t already previously shared by Andrew Hawkins. Or Lavelle Hawkins.

That’s a lot of WR’s they have. I’m guessing he asked for his release.

LOL.

Doug Kyed had this whole quote from Lombardi on Ellington this morning saying he has the talent to be the best slot WR in NEP history...bla bla

Gone.

Way too early projection on who will be with the team Week 17 in BOLD

Julian Edelman
N'Keal Harry

Demaryius Thomas
Phillip Dorsett
Maurice Harris
Braxton Berrios
Damoun Patterson
Jakobi Meyers
Ryan Davis
Xavier Ubosi
Matthew Slater (STs)
Josh Gordon (suspended)

Too many WRs as is

I like our WR depth now that we have Harry.
Edelman, Dorsett, and Harry should be a productive group.

The question then becomes who else can contribute and I think Maurice Harris, DT, Gordon, and Berrios each have reasons to think they can add value. Throw in the potential for a UDFA as well and this group should be much improved over last year.

I'm a huge Ubosi guy based on absolutely nothing.

I loved the highlights package patriots.com put up for him. It consisted of Ubosi running down the field for a big play each time. They showed each play 3 times over from a different angle. Excellent work by the Patriots media crew!o_O

Huge leap to say both Ubosi and Berrios will beat out Dorsett. Right now Dorsett is WR2 even if a few guys beat him out it would be a long fall to not making the roster at all. Nothing I've seen from Berrios makes me think he's close to Dorsett and I need to see Ubosi in camp at least before going that far with him.

The 6 I start with are
Jules
Dorsett
Harry
DT
Maurice Harris
Slater

The rest have to prove themselves worthy of an NFL spot or unsuspended.

Likewise. Watched a couple of youtubes

I guess this is what I like.

22.2 ypc in college.
6-3 215 (Pats are hoarding big, tall WRs)
4.5 40
Good blocker
Rarely drops the ball.

Now...all the kid did was run go routes. Plus they say he is slow in/out of breaks. He'll need some time to learn the offense and work on his footwork.

I think he'll be PS and a 2nd 1/2 call-up.
