just a 1y deal with Allen and punter competition last year clearly indicates BB wants to upgrade.

Bailey could be my favourite pick (and the only one i got right i believe). Best punter in a strong P class with K experience.

I really don't understand how you can even compare the value of camp WR to potential 10-15y starter that sees significant plays every game?

Absolutely. He would’ve been a perfect Hogan replacement. Plus this kid knows how to deal with adversity (it’s been well documented), even though he was undrafted, he’s going to be a good player. Similar to Adam Thielen (also undrafted).

Setting the question of specific receivers aside, the real issue is that, not counting these new UDFAs the Patriots have exactly two WRs under contract for 2010, and one of those might not make the roster.

It was for that reason alone I thought they should have double dipped. This Jacobi Meyers sounds interesting though and needs some research.

Still, one of my favourite players of last college season. Humble, smart, mature, patient, plays everywhere. Nothing flashy but used to uphill battles - will have another one here - hopefully relentless 2.0..
