Meh. He’s better than Etling. That’s for sure. He can make every throw in the book, but he’s got to get over the tendency to drop his eyes at the first sign of pressure.

Again from last May...
(PTP) Jarrett Stidham QB/Auburn – Transfer from Baylor. At times Stidham looked like a poised, accurate QB who would let a play develop and deliver a strike on time. Mechanically looks comfortable, feet/base are about shoulder length. Has some zip and a quick release. Looks the part. Has some arm talent. He also has some wheels to eat up unaccounted for yards. He’ll look to build on that momentum and could make a huge jump in Gus Malzahn’s offense. He’s very smart w/ + football IQ. He’s accurate but could work on throwing his wr’s open a little better. Mobile & tough. Stidham has to improve his pocket awareness as well but he has plenty of tools to work w/.

Don't mind the pick here even though I think he needs major work. Biggest issues are still handling pressure, pocket awareness & operating outside the safety of that offense.

He beat Alabama by himself in 2017 and he's got all the arm talent in the world and he's athletic as hell. He was pretty pedestrian this year and seems to fold under both mental and physical pressure. If he had played well this year we're talking a top-10 pick, especially in this QB crop. I don't know what to make of him but he's got the most talent of any QB you're going to take in the 4th round.

I partly agree. His teammates sucked. The O line was a mess and his receivers had stone hands. I’m hoping that he will regain his confidence. I think he has talent.

OL Sucked WR's sucked what's a QB to do?? He can make all the throws Drew Brees with a stronger arm??

He’s a project, for sure. Didn’t make a ton of NFL throws in college, but his team around him didn’t help either.

That you can see love the way the football pops off his hand. Good developmental prospect behind the GOAT.
