Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

if I'm Kraft (and I realize I'm not), I would feel extremely flattered that people are so interested in watching me getting my pole jerked at 77 years of age.
Factor in:

Kraft's orchid has tiny hands.
The camera puts on 10 pounds

I believe I called him an idiot too, but looking back, even that may have been too harsh. At worst, he paid for a * from a middle-aged woman, willing participant and tipped her more than she's probably ever been tipped before. What a horrible man.
I called him an idiot because he can afford filet mignon and instead he chooses flank steak.

I have to believe that this removes a lot of pressure from NFL to hand down some draconian punishment. This may be enough, even if found guilty, to bring punishment in same category as Irsay's.

Nothing wrong with flank steak. Great for teriyaki, stew or beef tacos

He knows there's better steak to be had elsewhere. There was another motivation for this.

But, but but they're still looking into human trafficking and I haven't seen any evidence that they have stopped.
He's so vain, he probably thinks this song is about him.

all the idi0ts that screamed "human trafficking!!!!!!!" in this thread should be summarily executed by firing squad forthwith

In fairness, I only know of one. He just posts the equivalent of fifty individuals.

Overwhelmingly this thread has been forum members who sniffed this out early on, as well as additional crap pulled by the JPD.

A few of us tried to tell people here when this all broke that it had nothing to do with human trafficking, but it did not stop some fans from libeling Mr. Kraft.
I don’t think anyone here accused kraft of being involved in trafficking.
I don’t think any anywhere did that.
He was associated with trafficking because the investigation he got caught up in was purportedly a trafficking investigation.
One would have to be pretty obtuse to think that means he was accused of trafficking.

So basically they've said that we've RUINED the reputation of a man who has pretty much led an exemplary like over a misdemeanor because we wanted to get a couple of weeks of national coverage.

Well on the plus side they GOT that coverage. On the downside, their department is making Florida Man look brilliant.
Kraft wasn’t charged with trafficking. His reputation is affected by soliciting a prostitution in a massage parlor.

Not so. He was linked to human trafficking on Fox Sports by Rob Parker. I know most Patriot fans don't take him seriously but Fox Sports is national and that's all most the country has to hear to make it fact for them. We've even had people post here that have witnessed the same thing in conversations they've had with people. You have kept that drum beating by repeatedly letting us know that they're still investigating. We're not stupid

People remember about 80% of a story from the first headline/take. Most people heard that Kraft was involved in prostitution and sex trafficking and went with the obvious “evil billionaire” label. 99% of people outside of NE don’t care and won’t be reading follow up information and the later established facts, outside of a verdict or settlement, such as the fact that human trafficking never should have been associated with Kraft to begin with.

This was similar to the NFL’s PR campaign about Brady in controlling the story with fake numbers from day one and establishing some kind of BS moral high ground, acting like a stunned observer rather than the real villain of the story, which like the NFL they appear to be with their lies and red herrings, covering up their corruption of justice.

But without the "trafficking" claims that were shouted to the rooftops, its a 2 day story that runs a bit longer here and of course, on this board. I would have been an embarrassment for sure, but not the "scarlet letter" that it will forever be, regardless of the outcome.

Kept the drum beating? Gee I guess the right thing to do is jump to conclusions without facts.
All I have done is disagreed with assumptions being made and pointed out the other side of the argument.

I always thought krafts celebrity is what gave the story legs.
Look at it this way if it were a trafficking case and kraft wasn’t part of it, how long would it have stayed in the news?

You can’t really help If stupid people or those with an agenda who don’t care to understand the facts stuck to their ill formed assumptions.
It’s become our national pasttime

Curious. Does it really bother you that much what someone who can’t or won’t read or be concerned with the truth thinks of Robert kraft?

Could you quote the part where I said it bothers me?

But, but but they're still looking into human trafficking and I haven't seen any evidence that they have stopped.
It was obvious a month ago. But in today’s society, media publishes unproven speculation as fact and too many people react emotionally and take it as the truth.

There is no emotion in news.

I think you enjoy taking the contrary opinion
I don’t see the point of having a discussion about the things you agree about. Of course if I am going to discuss something it’s the part I don’t agree with. Unfortunately what happens here goes something like this:
Someone comments that the police lied to get a warrant so they could see people naked and watched for a month before doing anything while girls were being raped, before any facts are known, including anyone seeing the actual warrant.
I respond that there is reporting that this was a trafficking case, so if they believed that I understand the video surveillance, that we have no idea how long they taped and we don’t know the facts
People go page after page arguing the strawman that I said I know there was trafficking, that I think people are guilty because the police accuse them and that I’m good with police watching girls get raped.
It’s ludictois.

But that’s just my opinion. I told you what 2 police officers said to me about there being no human trafficking. They gave me the proof because they knew protocol. And you tried to it mock as “someone told me” instead of asking more questions
There were no questions to ask. You stated your opinion and stated that your police officer friends told you so. I didn’t accept that as significant because I don’t know you or your friends and opinions are not fact.

Your first gut reaction is to disagree rather than looking for where you agree. This isn’t a debating board.
That’s not true. My entire reaction is to further discussion on the areas I disagree. There is no discussion needed on the parts I agree with.

You seem to be very upset about it.

You’ll have to point out the content in that specific post that leads you to (wrongly) believe I’m “very upset” about it.

The the general tone led me to believe you think it’s unfair and it bothers you. If it doesn’t why make the post?
That’s how I perceived your post.
Feel free to tell me you don’t care at all about how this event makes people perceive kraft.
