While this was a joking troll thread, take a moment to consider this.
The differentiation between becoming a member of the Hall of Fame, and having a plaque, exhibit, etcetera somewhere physically in the building that is the Hall of Fame.
For example:
Steve Gregory scooping up the ButtFumble and scoring a touchdown.
Brandon Bolden foiling Chuck Pagano's trick play.
Jonas Gray's one game of fame vs the Colts
1961: final play of the game. Crowd has swarmed around the edge of the goal line. Unnoticed at the time a man in a trench coat runs onto the field of play, deflects the pass and the Patriots win. Legend has it that man was Billy Sullivan. Pats win their first game in franchise history.
How about an electrocution exhibit?
On the first panel you could have
Clive Rush writhing in pain until Dan Marr saved him. Next to that the fans who tore down the goal posts and walked them out to Route 1, only to hit a power line. And for chuckles, Patriot uniform #81 alongside a picture of the state of
Florida's Old Sparky.
oops, sorry - too soon?
Within an exhibit of the 2014 team, make a photo, video or plaque specifically mentioning Revis. Now he is technically "in the Hall".
Problem solved.
