Dean Smith won two titles with all the talent they had over the year. And that team with Jordan, Perkins and Worthy might not have won it all if not for a bad pass from Freddie Brown. Even with Worthy going to the NBA he couldn't win another title with Jordan and Perkins.

Then again in his second title if not for a timeout with no timeouts by Chris Weber he might not have won that one.

Point is it's not easy in a one and done. It's like people being critical of Bill and Tom because hey they have 3 SB losses.

still better than college though....and 37.2% in the pros is still pretty good regardless of whether it is better than last year or not.......so it goes back to the point of your original claim of williamson sucking at the 3 pointer as being not only inaccurate but completely irrelevant when it comes to the NBA game

It’s pretty sad a prerequisite to make in the NBA now is to shoot the 3. Aside from that, the NBA has become unwatchable for me. Every player and every team try to do the same thing - run and pass it around until they can shoot the 3. And they don’t even try on D.

I can't watch it anymore and haven't for years.

I scratch my head with him frankly. He has the best talent just about every year, but every year it's the same freakin thing: take a bunch of crappy shots all game, and have no good high probability plays written up for high stakes situations. Pray that your talent gets you the W. Never use your bench. I often wonder how some of the coaches with only good talent would do with the teams that Coach K is gifted would do....

I have no doubt he is a good motivator but as an X's and O's guy he just seems sort of ... infuriating. Don't get me wrong I know next to nothing about basketball but my friends have season tickets to Duke games, and they get really frustrated too and they know more than I ever will.
