I know we are joking around....but seriously I have always wondered why we don't try out TALL guys on offense? Sure, Dikembe probably can't even crack a 6 second forty....but I think he could jump ball better than anyone in the red zone, no? Brady would only need to loft balls up when we're in the RZ. Mutombo is 7'2" and his arms are at least 3'....his reach would be 10'2" without even jumping...and he still at least has an one foot vertical leap....

Then again Vince Wilfork could dunk the ball....hmmmm.....

It's similar to how I have always wondered why we don't bring in Sumo wrestlers from Japan to play on the lines? IIRC, the Raiders tried this in the 70's.....

You might be overestimating (A) the value of those potential players in terms of versatility and (B) their willingness to engage in a full-contact sport.
