I want to qualify this by saying it's an observation, not really a complaint: I don't know if season ticket invoices were posted on the Patriots' website before Mar. 4, but that's when notices were e-mailed specifying full payment due by Mar. 29. That's 25 days to pony up the approximately $3k for two seats at mezzanine level (in my case), more for lower-bowl folks and a bit less for upper-deckers.

When you're the elite of elite like the Pats I guess you can call the shots however you want. Yes, we're usually invoiced February-ish and yes, this tight window probably had something to do with the Super Bowl. But ideally, a low-roller like me would appreciate an installment payment option similar to what other teams offer -- or maybe a bit more time.

Regardless, I feel blessed for this opportunity entering my 27th year trekking regularly to Foxboro. Time flies.

Here's the note from the Krafts accompanying the invoice:

Last season was yet another banner year for your New England Patriots and we cannot thank you enough for your contributions in support of our sixth Super Bowl Championship!

Since we opened Gillette Stadium in 2002, our fans, and especially our Season Ticket Members, have created a home field advantage that is unrivaled. In 2018, the Patriots were the only NFL team to go undefeated at home, an accomplishment that speaks to the incredible environment you helped create. In fact, it was the seventh time the Patriots have gone undefeated at home since Gillette Stadium opened, which is more than any other NFL team since 1970. While the coaches and players deserve much of the credit, we recognize the importance of our Season Ticket Members and the impact you have on our overall success. We cannot remember another season when our fans were louder or more engaged than this past season, and for that, we thank you.

Coach Belichick and his staff are working hard to assemble the 2019 team, while off the field we continue to use feedback from our annual Season Ticket Member surveys to understand how we can make your experience better. This offseason we are undergoing renovations to improve the stadium and your game day experience and we are excited to announce we will open four reimagined concession and merchandise locations on the main concourse that have been designed to provide even greater convenience, more product offerings and improved access on game day.

Lastly, to honor your loyalty, you, our Season Ticket Members, will be the first to take a picture with all six New England Patriots Lombardi trophies. No one will have that opportunity before you. An invitation will be sent soon for you to register for this experience. In addition, 53 lucky Season Ticket Members will be drawn at random and will receive an exclusive invitation to have their picture taken in our private Patriots Trophy Room at Gillette Stadium. All Season Ticket Members are automatically eligible for this exclusive experience and the winners will be notified by email on Friday, April 12.

The details for your 2019 Season Ticket Member invoice are enclosed. We look forward to hosting you again in the fall and hope to extend our 16-game win streak at Gillette Stadium well into the 2019 season.

Everything you said is right, and I am glad I am used to the way they do things. I got an $8,000 invoice dropped on my lap with about 4 weeks notice before the deadline. So I am happy that I was able to prepare in advance. My payment was made today.

I payed mine on Monday. The good part is they did not go up on prices. It has been that way for awhile.

Yes it’s tough to pony up the dough in such a short window. However the Pats aren’t alone with their short windows.
We bought 2 season tickets to the Bruins this year to try it out. They are upper deck seats, nothing special. Two weeks ago we got a $4200 invoice for the playoffs only. No payment plan unless you agree to renew your season tickets next year. Needless to say, we are going back to our 6 game package next year. I am very disappointed as access to playoff tickets was one of the reasons I wanted to get them.

I paid mine today as well. And for some reason the online form wasn't working right for me so I had to call and luckily after three tries got someone to take it over the phone.

Shouldn't you be brushing your teeth and getting ready for bed? And you better not have skipped your homework again, buster.

what boring people are you expecting to respond?

So since I am on the waitlist..i assume it wasn't my year

Assuming your close it still could be. They have to do renewals and upgrades. Then what little opens up gets offered to the masses via wait list.

Do you put in for upgrades? I haven't done that in years.

Upgrades?...yeah, my urologist tried to talk me into some of that...I'll stick with Cialis

I try every year. The last time it worked was around 7 years ago. I got to move more to the middle... and higher. I basically sit next to Ernie Adams, which actually is a great (and cold and windy) view.

I just realized that this will be my 14th year as a STH. Wow, that went by fast. Of course 5 of those years were spent in Asia.

Robert Kraft is jealous of those 5 years.

But yeah, it sucks being in a big market where thousands are chomping at the bit to replace you.

It was rough shelling out like $14k a season (psl payments and 4 lower seats on the 30ydln) every spring.

Almost seems like the teams only want the fans there with plenty of money to spend... na couldn't be that.

Sort of. We have a pickle. We have our 4 main seats and a separate pair a few rows away. We want to get all 6 together without moving the main four. Basically we waiting on one of the adjacent 2 to open up at the same time we have our priority window.
We have a better shot of convincing them face to face to trade. We discussed once with the party to our left but it never came through. The guy on our right is pretty devout and we always talk during games about the game. But I know he doesn't want aisle seats but I also never discussed trade possibilities. He moved his account to his nieces name last year so I think it's time to discuss with both parties (The guy and niece) this year.

Fwiw the Patriots sales team has told us that if we found the guy they would do the swap but no clue if/how they will actually do it.

Guess what? Nobody here cares.

Yikes. The Jets should have been paying you $3,500 a season to have to sit through the crap they’ve put out year after year.
