So, the Dolphins are going into full blown tank mode.

With that in mind, who is the greater threat in the division: the Bills or Jets? Should we fear either of these teams breaking a ceiling of 6-10/7-9? I was waiting for the Dolphins to be that team that pushes us after they started 3-1, but then they went 4-9 down the stretch.

IMO, the Bills did really good in FA. No huge splash signings, but solid signings across the board. Also, they did actually make the play-offs only a short 15 months ago....

The Jets will be a tough out with their D-Line...and Darnold in year two (he doesn't suck unfortunately), Robbie Anderson, Le'Veon Bell, and an underrated Chris Herndon.

I think one of them will be a 10-6/11-5 team.....

Who knows.

We are still gonna lose some ******** game in Miami- again.

It would be incredible if one of those teams made that step after so many years of having 9-7 be the peak of achievement for the Dolphins, Jets, and Bills.

This division is the Pats as long as the 2 GOATS are here. There is no fear.

Still think we are due for a 2 play-off team from the AFCE year...

it's the jets. they have a chance to actually look like a team that knows what it's doing. the best thing they did was upgrade the coaching staff. Gregg Williams is a good defensive coach.

Pretty soft strength of schedule for the AFCE with the AFCN & NFCE on tap. The bad news for the Jete is their finish based opponents are the Raiders & Jags who look to be substantially improved. If they stay healthy it wouldn't be surprising to see the Jete finish anywhere from 6-10 to 9-7. Allen's progression makes it close to impossible to get a decent handle on the Bills but their ceiling can't be any higher than 9-7. The tanking in Miami looks to be for real.

Please revise your thread title to reflect the subject matter.

I don’t think I’ll have have any fear about our Pats again. Even when we got into the playoffs and eventually, the SB just recently, I had no worries.

I am COMPLETELY satisfied. If we continue, awesome. If we decline, it’ll suck but everything will still be ok.

Same goes for the Red Sox! I turned 60 this year and for the first 4 decades, I only got a little taste from the Bruins & Celtics. But I’ve watched; Bill Russell, Bobby Orr, Larry Bird, David Ortiz, Pedro Martinez, Gronk, Randy Moss and Tom Brady all play at their peaks and win around 20 championships.

That’s pretty darn good! So nope, I don’t care who loads up and I’m not worried about the draft. Now maybe if I can get my handicap back down to a 10, my life will be complete!

Have seen better Steelers teams with Bell on them, as well as a QB paired with Bell that was better than Darnold. Those teams folded eventually, and NONE of them made it further than the Pats.

Beasley and Brown are nice #2 receivers. Fortunately the secondary is the strength of the Pats D. McCoy fell off last year, and regardless of whether injuries/poor OL line are to blame, he’s going to be 31 and his best days are behind him.

Both teams looked improved on paper, but no reason until we see otherwise to assume they’re legit AFC contenders. The Patriots meanwhile are.

fear the jets, who haven't won since Namath?

Fear the bills who have beaten us in ??? years.

That being said, I believe that Bills are on the right track and could be fighting for a wild card spot.

Many of them are dangerous just not to us.

I was laughing earlier about their ridiculous signings

Once in a while either MIA or NYJ make it as the second AFCE playoff team. I personally think all three teams are still a year away. At least.

All I know is I like this Cole Beasley!

A Kansas City radio host then took a bit of a shot at Beasley’s response, and the wideout roasted him, as well.

You must be a “if you can’t beat em join em” type of guy. #thataintme Mike Wickett on Twitter
