Tyreek Hill Investigation

Chiefsplanet are losing their minds over this.

It's not just because of Odell, and the splashy signings they made this year. Mayfield is the real deal. I can't say the same for any other QB in that draft...can you? And I don't wanna hear about the dumpster fire that Arizona, or the Jets are cause Cleveland was that and then some, and Mayfield had them in contention to the end.
They are accumulating a bunch of talent there no question.

If something like this came out about Edelman I'm sure we would be too. And there would be the usual cast who would go right towards the same **** that they're using to deflect or shift blame.

I hate that we just want to be football fans but we have to navigate all of this nonsense, so much. I can't blame people who just like watching their guy play football and hope that it isn't true because it's a natural, self-interested position to take. But similarly as we did with Hernandez you need to try to be on the right goddamn side of history if it ends up being proven that he did this.

You're killing me. Lol. "We're not just collecting talent, we're building a team" love that BB quote, and it works for him. But to dismiss what Cleveland is GOING TO DO because it doesn't mesh with our philosophy, is a grave mistake.

...and a for a 1st year HC hes got a lot of personalities in that locker room.
I think Mayfield will bridge the gap nicely between coach and players. The players love the QB, and the QB would never sell out the coach.

What is CLE going to do?

I'm a prove it to me guy.

Until they win a playoff game, beat the Patriots and go to and win a SB they are nothing more than a talented team. Just like KC, Pitt, JAX, Indy, Chargers, Texans, etc.

With a 1st year coach and all those egos over there we have no idea how well they will do next year

People lost their mind, and he wasn’t even that important to the team yet. Charges were dropped after video only showed him grabbing her hand, but it’s interesting to read early opinions. (And of course, not a kid involved.)

Eldelman Arrested (Update: All charges DROPPED)

Fair enough. I've already voiced my opinion no need to so again. Can't wait till the season begins. I'm more than willing to take any wager on the standings though. Cleveland WILL finish in front of Pittsburgh. So come one. Come all.

Pretty funny how the Tyreek Hill child abuse thread has turned into a raging debate about how good the Browns will be this year.

This tweet from 7 hours ago is not aging well:

They have been putting together a solid nucleus for a few years. Their top picks are a year matured. Now they add 2 bro bowler skill position players. They have an experienced D coordinator, and the team took off with the new HC. The only reason not to respect that team is their history, which I can tell you for sure, none of the players give a damn about.

What are they going to do ? They have a totally unproven coaching staff, a collection of players with fragile egos that could implode whenever they face adversity and zero experience with winning.

This is not Madden. But then again if they get to 10 wins and sniff the playoffs everyone will be happy anyway.

That I think is a very real possibility.

Beating NE in Foxboro in January.....not so much.

Lets see how the season goes.

I think we'd all agree typically the most physical, battle-tested, defensive-minded teams with solid coaching and excellent QB play win Super Bowls.

Right now, the Browns have none of those qualities.
