Bruins 2018 - 2019 Season

#37 will surely hang from the rafters one day, as will #63. Those two, along with (finally) Krecji, are pulling the train on offense. Pasternak & hopefully Johansson should be available by St Paddy's day; I would slot both of them with Krecji, keep Heinen with 37 & 63, and try DeBrusk, who is now also day-to-day (damn) with the $10M sh!t-hole of Coyle & Backes, aka the Worst 3rd Line Among PO Contenders.

Another squeaker against one of the worst teams in the entire league, at home no less.
Not encouraging. It took them over 59 minutes to score their 3rd goal. Pasternak, Johansson & DeBrusk cannot return soon enough. And once again - and this is Not a recording - not one feckin lousy point from either Coyle or Backes, or from whichever dead-weight LW - Nordstrom and Cehlarik - rode on the 3rd line with those two useless, over-paid stiffs.

Speaking of useless stiffs - as well as old & slow - welcome back to Boston, Lee Stumpniak!

The last 2 games of the homestand were a warning: the Bs cannot now dress a team that is competitive vs playoff teams. There is not nearly enough talent up front, and Toooka Rask is sucking again. He should've been pulled after the first period.

Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. Balls & sticks season starts in a few weeks, right?

what did you think they were going to do? never lose again? the injuries are catching up to them. they have already beat many playoff teams. they went 4 and 1 on the west coast recently. beating playoff teams. if they get healthy. they have a chance to beat anybody.

Pasternak finally! returns; but in typical hockey dumb-assery, he is immediately put on the re-united (and again top-heavy) first line, thereby insuring, Once Again, Zero production from lines 2 & 3 (DeBrusk's goal was scored as a result of a break-away when he literally just came on the ice after serving his penalty).

In order to prevent Marchand-Bergeron-Pasternak from being smothered during the POs, this is what I would try now:
Heinen - Bergeron - Nordstrom
DeBrusk - Krecji - Pasternak
Marchand - Coyle - Backes
Kuraly - Acciari - Wagner

If Marchand, their best Forward after Bergeron, cannot get anything from Coyle/Backes, then Nobody else will, and we're screwed.

Yay! A goal from David Backes!

(Still nothing from the useless disgrace Charlie Coyle; Charlie Murphy could've had at least one goal by now.)

Pasta is a god. My god he should break his hand every year...no no no...I mean?

And they are winning the cup...saying it. They can hang and can beat TB. Leafs have zero D. Caps are scary however but if/when they get past Tampa...watch out

Allow me to amend the previous sentence: One goal from Charlie Coyle!

In order for the Bs to have any chance at all vs Tampa, they really need Kevin Miller (and to a much lesser extent John Moore) to return. Kampfer & Clifton are too small & too weak. At least all of the Forwards minus Kuraly are here now, but the Marchand-Bergeron-Pasternak line Must be split-up in order to achieve balance throughout the rest of the lineup.

Heinen - Bergeron - Johansson
DeBrusk - Krecji - Pasternak
Marchand - Coyle - Backes
Nordstrom - Acciari/Kuraly - Wagner

Defense pairings: TBD, depending on Miller & Moore.

They could've clinched home ice vs Toronto with a win, but Noooooo......

Marcus Johansson: this is what Eurotrash looks like. He was Directly responsible for Florida's 2nd goal, and was actually removed from Bergeron-Marchand after his first few shifts of the game because he kept making bad plays...and that EuroStank must've infected both Marchand & Pasternak, because they each should've scored but simply didn't want it badly enough.
Two other Euros - Toooka & Krecji - didn't exactly play their best games of the season either.

Eurotrash scores a goal! Yay!

Too bad that Cindy Crosby's Sh!tsdirt Stinkybirds didn't make the POs either. That would've been win-win.
