My philosophy is that you don't give a rookie QB (or basically rookie) all the weapons you can. You let them develop 2, 3 years without much and then splurge. I see this harming Baker's development as a top QB.

Browns should be a legit threat in the AFC now. Dorsey has worked wonders.. Gilmore, and JC Jackson going to have their work cut out.. As well as that backfield too

They are putting together a strong team. As they should considering how many top picks they've had over the years. Still, this is a bit of a shock.

Patriots could never compete with the 17th pick. Peppers has been up and down and a 3rd is just a sweetener, but they couldn't have competed with that haul. Think it eas a very good trade for the Browns though. Baker gets the best WR in the game in his prime for 5 years and the cap hit is hardly severe.

I somewhat disagree. On face value, the compensation is excellent (as well as the cap space wriggle room) but they gave up an All Pro level talent and have yet to cash in said draft capital. Right now, I think the Giants may be ahead but if they blow the picks, the Browns are the likely winners.
