Tom Jackson hasn't changed [merged]

in fact i was a little surprised that ditka said its the best prepared and coached team whether you like BB or dont like him..

all the above is true, and it makes it more imperative that ESPN acknowledge that Jackson has past history with BB that colors ANYTHING he says on the topic. WE know the history, but the great masses that watch ESPN DON'T.

I'm going to craft a letter to ESPN to asking an explaination for allowing that diatribe by Jackson, that was so filled with half truthes and inuendo that it boarded on histerical.

First, there WAS no filming rule in 2001 which makes the entire basis of his question moot.

Secondly the results don't bear out the condemnation. It was the Pats stopping the Rams OFFENSE that was the story, not the other way around.
Again, WE know this, but the myth of the Pats cheating gets NATIONAL airtime over and over again. If allowed to go on unchallenged, the MYTH will become people's reality.

THIS HAS TO STOP

The Patriots "dismantling" the Rams suggests he's talking about the Rams OFFENSE, which would have nothing to do with any "stealing signals" nonsense since the offense sends its signals in electronically. So there's that, TJ, you dumb ****.

Meanwhile, the Pats offense, such that it was, scored a total of 13 points, 3 of which came on the final, no-huddle drive where there was barely enough time to get OUR plays called and up to the line, let alone time to implement stolen signals.

This is all RIDICULOUS. They say stuff that sounds like it could make sense to the casual listener, but doesn't hold up upon even the SLIGHTEST scrutiny. And they've now had nearly a month to digest what ACTUALLY, technically could have possibly occurred. It's insane, irresponsible and lazy.

Any loser can say "I don't know and neither do you". That's what conspiracy theorists do all the time - we can't prove a negative - and it's a cop out from a pathetic loser.

Re: Tom Jackson on Sunday NFL Countdown

Tom is too stupid to grasp that the tell on teams using stolen defensive signals in game is dramatic 2nd half adjustments on offense to the point they can suddenly almost score at will...

Might this reasoning apply to the 2006 AFC Championship game?

Oh what am I talking about? St Dungy would never do such a sinful, dastardly thing!

Re: Tom Jackson hasn't changed

And Emmitt Smith continues to be terrible. Saying the Patriots have great running back depth then says with Faulk Maroney and um ahhh ummm (looks at paper infront of him, boomer says sammy morris) ummm yah sammy morris.

Lol! I was just thinking the same thing. I hoped he would say the Pats have a lot of depth at RB because they have Lawrence Maroney THEENDNOWTOCHRIS.

Here's the thing...
If stealing signals actually does hurt any team in the superbowl, you really have to blame that teams coaching.
Think about it, most important game of the year, you have 2 weeks to prepare. If you're unable to change your signals for that game, then you have an incompetent coaching staff. In fact, in that game, you should probably be changing your signals every half, or quarter.

I'm not saying the pats stole the rams signals, or the rams didnt change their signals, but if TJ's allegations were true, he should be blasting Martz for not having any common sense.

I still remember Kurt Warner, before the game, saying his goal was to win 5 superbowls. Talk about looking past your opponents, and then not delivering

No, but apparently Howard Mudd has...

Jackson only makes himself look as stupid as stupid can get....He is an ********* period....

They are gonna debate who could go 16-0...Colts or the Pats...wanna make a bet who Jackson says can go 16-0...hmmm...

Tom Jackson: "The Colts are in avery tough division"....really is he freaking kidding me???

and then he was suggesting subtly the pats were running up the score and you dont get style points for winning with 20 pts ...he is really bringing the hate

I swear Emmit just called Sammy Morris "Sammy Morrison".

He looks like he is crapping in his pants when he was watching Emmitt speak...wow, he hates anything Pats...

Did he really say the pats are running up the score?

he said something like they are scoring 34 pts even after controlling the game "although there is nothing wrong with that" but you dont get style points for winning by 20 every time.

The 2001 regular season game against the Rams was a close loss, I wanna say 30-23 or something around that...Rams got out to a lead, Pats fought back but lost in the end.

Tom Jackson suffers from a rare condition called post-Broncial cranial anal...it's a rare disease that stuffed his head up his bum after he retired.

What BB said...
