Well, there isn't any. But at the same time, Belichick chose to have these 4 people on his staff this year in lieu of all the people that would be coming in. So to say that it could affect them adversely, at least in the short term, isn't being irrational. We obviously hope it won't.
... and we hope we win the Super Bowl every year yet all the staffs
under Belichick have not ensured it ... this topic is over hyped by some IMO.

Fears is still here too. We may not have the best running game each year, but except when we run the ghost of Stephen Jackson it hasn't been horrendous either. And RB blitz pickup has really been a strength of this team during the last two decades.

No one will agree but he is probably the most underrated coach in the NFL.

Losing Boyer bothers me at least we have developed some really good UDFA CB's.

That has more to do with Monti Ossenfort and Brian Smith. Boyer had been the CB coach since '09. Pats didnt start developing UDFA CB regularly until Ossenfort and Smith started running college scouting

Uh... who? And who?

You guys amaze me.

I can barely keep track of the players on the field. Still trying to figure out where John Simon came from. o_O

Dolphins know us too well now.
Couldn't of Kraft of paid these guys a little more?
Leaving for lateral positons
Miami rivalry should get real

Goodell is behind this crap, for sure!

Maybe Boyer preferred to work with someone he knows well and respects (Flores) rather than have to deal with a new guy who has a very strong personality (Schiano). Also he probbaly got a substantial raise. Hard to be upset with Boyer about that.

Not loving Flores going to within division rival though. I suspect Dolphins purposely wanted to weaken our coaching staff and steal lots of intelligence about BB and McDaniels as a bonus. That may have played a big part in why Flores got the job.
We have seen this strategy before with Mangini and the Jets.

I had Boyer down as a future DC. Big loss.

Wasnt Daly taking the preseason DC duties? That's usually the indicator for next in line.

Schiano is stepping in this year, but that is possibly because they feel like it may be too fast for Daly, whereas Flores was next in line for a while.

I would assume that everyone who moved laterally is someone who didn't see any future upwards with the Pats.

Schuplinski might think that McDaniels will stay for a while and Boyer most probably knew he would not move further up the food chain the same way as Daboll when he moved to Alabama. The same reason why Pepper Johnson moved on a few years back.

I am honestly not particularly upset about any of the coaches leaving. In the end they were teaching and coaching the techniques given to them from higher up so its not like a lot of institutional knowledge is leaving us.

Well, except for Flores.. we had a good thing going. It would have been cool to keep him for another 1-2 years.

Promotion for Stephen Belichick? Instead of being the safeties coach...he could coach the entire secondary?

I was wondering if BB would make him DC instead of going outside the organization. But I understand he needs to work his way up.

I fear the Dolphins could potentially sweep the Patriots next season. Not necessarily because they are better. But because of the knowledge they will have.

Who are you claiming went to the Dolphins in a lateral move?

Sculpiski
Has the same role.
Not saying he is anything great but It sucks the Dolphins have so much interworkings of our team.
I'm not jumping off a cliff or anything I just would rather they not be so Patriot like.

Nobody should be upset. They were blocked for advancement, got more money or saw the glass ceiling in NE. See Pepper Johnson.

When BB moves on let me know.
