Brady's postgame interview with Tracy Wolfson

I know this will surely be the most unpopular thread of the day and yes I am with absolutely everyone here who takes Brady at face-value when he says there is "zero chance" he will retire, but...

Did anyone else catch how Brady hitched when he was talking to Wolfson. He began to say he would take some time with family... Then he stopped. I wondered if he was about to say, "then we'll evaluate."

Instead, he stopped his sentence, restarted and said that right now he is looking forwarded to celebrating and just spending time with family to recharge.

I wouldn't have thought anything of it if he had simply said the latter, but I wondered why he had censored himself from saying the former.

I would not be surprised if we heard a major announcement in 2 weeks.

Not how I read it at all. First thing he did was say immediately there was zero chance he was retiring. Then you could almost see him think, oh wait, I need to address the family thing. My guess is Giselle has expressed enough annoyance at the spending time with family thing that he makes sure he says something about it first all the time now. I’ve noticed this recently. He seems much more conscientious of mentioning his wife, kids, family and I think it is in deference to her.

I stopped reading after a few sentences, but while we're on the subject, was anyone else just completely DISGUSTED by the media in that situation? I get it, your entire worth as a human being is tied to being obnoxious and getting in people's face to make sure you have the best sound quality of guys saying, "I'm glad we won", but for the love of Pete, GIVE THESE GUYS A GOD DAMN MINUTE TO SHAKE THE OTHER TEAM'S HANDS. Media culture in sports has become insufferable, and 90% of them need to be culled.
