This team had no business being in the super bowl. But they pushed and made their own reality. JUST DO IT! Make your own REALITY! Pats Nation!!!

summoning my inner McMurtry88......meh...we SHOULD have SEVEN Super Bowls if that idiot Belichick starts Butler last year...so, I'm disappointed. The offense was horrible. 13 points? The Pats have HUGE problems.HUGE!

People talking about Edelman as a HOFer but... Let's talk about the real guy who deserves the Hall.

Dante Scarnecchia.

Should be ****ing first ballot. And if he doesn't get considered, if he never makes it, something is ****ing wrong.

This was the best team in the postseason and among the best of the regular season. One day people will finally realize that it is not about collecting talent but putting together a versatile and reliable machine.

Like I said in the GDT.

We played like the 85 Bears tonight.
Pats were better. The 85 Bears would get lit up by today's offenses (see their one loss that year). They feasted on bad offenses. This Rams offense wasn't the Dieter Brock-lead Rams or Eason-lead Pats.

That being said, I called Goff "Rex Goffman" in a couple of threads earlier this week, so I felt he could be a liability if the Pats attacked him. I had no idea they would be that successful, though. So in the end he kind of was like Dieter Brock.

Regards,
Chris

Oh, and finally the D put together a dominant performance over the course of 60 minutes and not "just" the first half.

But let that sink in, in 3 playoff games against the Chargers, Chiefs and Rams the opposition in the first half managed only a total of 7 points and 212 yards on 15 drives. That's an average per drive of 0.47 points and 14.1 yards. Absolutely mind-boggling.

How about the facts .

What did she say?
She was floating out some possible headlines/storylines from the media tomorrow (aka not her own opinions) and Sanders was responding with a very annoyed tone in fierce opposition.

That PBU by Jason McCourty on Cooks is one of the reasons I was not sad to see Cooks go. He is not a fighter, finesse player really. Can't go to these type of games with him and expect him to hang tough. Sean P knew it, BB saw it as well.

Man, I gotta be honest - I was expecting that defensive front to somewhat slown down by he fourth AT LEAST.

They kept that fuel burning all night long. Unreal. What a friggin performance.

WE SHTUFF EM CUH

I don't quite understand how Rams were #2 offense and no other coach was able to stop McVay's offensive schemes.

BB is truly a genius. McVay said he was out-coached and numb. He looked like he was in shock.

That has to go down as the greatest defensive effort in SB history.

Held a team that scored 527 points to only 3... on a 53 yard FG. 8 consecutive punts to open the game.

The defense in this post season by NE brought tears to my eyes. Flores a massive loss.
Can't we change his mind for one more year? I will hate to go back to that bend and break **** under M. Pat. I can't believe how we were rushing.

I wanted to read ALL the comments. Wonderful stuff and remarkable how they reflect what I felt all game. It was NOT an edge of the seat gnaw your fingernails to the quick. It was masterful. And even though to me, it seemed like Nantz and Romo wanted the Rams to prevail, you didn't need talking heads and the blitherings of paid fools. You could feel that this team was for real and far more determined than almost anyone outside the patriot borders could see. I am very proud of them and of all the forum for going through the season. Having doubts but never abandoning. WE'RE STILL HERE!!
