In some ways I feel like this is the opportunity the last 11-5 Patriots team — in 2008 — just missed. Like that team this one saved the best for last. Consensus was that that 2008 team would have had a very good chance to win it all if it squeaked in. In the same way, this 11-5 is by far at its best at exactly the right time.

Last eight, really.

Just saw a stat on NFLN that Rams are 14-1 including playoffs when they score 24 or more points. No mention that same goes for the Patriots, only loss being the Migraine in Miami. I actually think most teams have high winning percentages when scoring 24 points or more. (2018 Chiefs are a notable exception — 0-5!)

This stat about the Chiefs seems wrong, or I’m missing something. They had plenty of wins where they scored 24+ points...?
