“You go on a winding drive through the woods in total darkness and out of nowhere the light of the stadium emerges like the Death Star. And once you get there everything seems so serious, so ominous, and so important.” Former Chargers C @hardwina describing playing in Foxboro.

It'll be a 1PM game this time around though....

I think we are in for a dog fight and might be facing a 2TD deficit late in the 2nd half....hope we can make it competitive....

Yeah. The Chargers play at Dignity Health Sports Park, capacity 27,000. When you get there is seems so, um, where's the upper deck?

By comparison, Pratt & Whitney Stadium where UConn plays football seats 40,000.

While I do think we're going to go down in flames at some point this postseason, I'm not sure it will be Sunday. I do expect a heart stopping defensive contest though and am hopeful since Gordon is dinged up.

My worst nightmare is Phillip Rivers exercising his demons and finally winning at Gillette. This game has Peyton Manning '05 vibe to it. However, the Chargers aren't a team that will blow you out. This game should be close either way.

I've talked a lot of sh!t on that guy saying he can't win when it matters. It's partially true this year. Had they not choked against Baltimore in the regular season, they'd be the #1 seed.

Man we always have to be the evil empire! Just look at this **** the chefs fans concocted. Apparently we're Mordor...o_O

Jesus, someone had too much time on their hands. Did that total loser with over 200,000 posts on ChiefsPlanet do that?

I think it was the one called Hammock pants or something. He posted it. Not sure if he made it? Some people were complimenting him so I think he might have.

I made the mistake of turning on my radio as I went out for lunch today.

I then tuned in to Colin Cowherd (second mistake).

I then didn't change the channel when he brought on his guest, Rob Parker (3rd mistake).

What I learned from that sage (Rob Parker) is that the Patriots are the 8th best of the 8 remaining playoff teams, that LA is a lock. However, he does not rule out the chance that somehow, some way, the Patriots might win if Tom Brady continues to be the luckiest player on Earth, a guy who just happens to stumble upon success over and over again.

My blood pressure rose more than it ought to. Man, I hate Rob Parker. He assured us in 2013 that Brady was done and he'd never sniff another Super Bowl, and yet he is all over the airwaves. Why? I guess hating the Patriots, irrationally, is good for ratings.
