We used a 2018 3rd for Trent Brown and Bentley

Why can't they get a 3 0r 4 for Dion and pass on the 7th for Flemming ?

So if the OTC predictions hold the Pats have if I'm not mistaken

First Round = 1 Pick

Second Round = 2 Picks

Third Round = 3 Picks

Fourth Round = 1 Pick

Fifth Round = 1 Pick

Six Round = 0 Picks

Seventh Round = 4 Picks

i think the picks are based on contract amounts. Lewis contract wasn't that much, about $5M if I recall... We signed Clayborn, for the same amount, cancelling out losing Lewis.

Lewis' departure would have netted a 6th at best but was offset by the signing of Clayborn
