Except he has no argument. Pats were missing their TE & RT and lost their RB in that game. So saying because Mack was playing injured is the reason why the Pats put 38 up on them is weak as f**king hell

The TE has been next to useless in the passing game the entire season and the RT has reverted back to being what he was pre-payday. And while I think the Pats would win anyway (because Trubisky blows), none of those things matter if Brady is on his back the entire game. See the 2007 team and what happened in the Super Bowl.

It just seemed like a one off that never happens so it was never addressed. But it’s a terrible rule. If it’s a catch and a fumble and the defense makes no effort to recover, it’s got to go back to the offense at the spot of the catch.

With the new rules I agree. Completion also is plausible.
