Direct messaging.

Looks like Tom sent him something that said,” keep balling AB. Fun to watch you.”

Of course now Brown is deciding to share this private message that’s months old, just out of the blue in order to drum up speculation and piss the Steelers off. Like I said, he’s just using Tom’s name to draw attention to himself.

Oh I see. Wtf is in the water their drinking in Pittsburgh.

Would I want a player like AB? Yes. Would I like AB? Eh... The dude is at the center of the locker room problems in Pittsburgh, we don't need that.

My personal prediction is that he's a Cowboy by this time next year. He's almost perfect for that organization.

Nope. Too big of a cap hit and not a team player.

Seeing how hes now calling Ryan Clark an Uncle Tom, that removes any optimism for him here .

We don't need that kind of a person on this team.

Of course, I would like him with the Pats, so if possible bring him here. Have a clause that lets the Pats out of the contract if he does certain things. There is always a team out there to take AB.

Go Pats

According to Shefter they are reworking Ben's contract to make some cap room. Looks like they may end up dealing Brown.

How are these two related? Trading Brown gains cap room.

Roethlisberger's restructured contract would create salary-cap space and also make it more palatable to move on from Pro Bowl wide receiver Antonio Brown this offseason if that's the direction the Steelers decide to go.

Should Pittsburgh decide to trade Brown this offseason, it's going to need more salary-cap room to carry his $21.25 million in dead money, and one player who could provide it is Roethlisberger.

OK

But the REALITY is that Brown would cost about the same against the PITT cap whether he plays for PITT or for someone else.

Ben's restructure provide cap money to sign other players. That would be the case whether Brown is there or not. Obviously, the Ben restructure would help a lot even with Brown staying.
If Brown goes, the new 1st rounder acquired in trade would be the "replacement" on the roster.

I want the idea of Antonio Brown.

I'm not sure I want the actual player.

AB is well worth his $40M over 3 years as contracted.

He's been one of the cancers inside that locker room and has been the focal point of a number of distractions throughout the entire season.

I wouldn't want anything to do with him, he's way too selfish of a player and is a huge diva. He just quit on his team when they're in week 17 and fighting for their life to get into the playoffs, and he abandons them at half time lol

The idea that people would seriously consider bringing this cancer into the locker room, for a huge price tag AND trade compensation, is crazy to me

Apparently PIT's owner admits AB unlikely to be on PIT next year:

Damn tough times for Pittsburgh. Losing bell and brown is a lot of talent.

You've got a better chance of getting hit by lightning than seeing AB in a Patriots uniform.

Yep. I would say out of the 31 other teams they could trade with we would be 30th edging out the Ravens.

They claimed bell was a cancer and obviously got worse without him. Lets see how the do without brown as well now.

I would LOVE to see him here.

I am pretty much good with anything short of a murderer or sexual predator if they help team win.
But he won’t, in fact he’ll have the opposite effect by the way he changes locker room dynamics.
