Edelman is a chippy player. Others call him dirty, and sometimes even I would, but to be honest, dirty should be reserved for guys that try to injure other guys. That’s not Edelman’s game IMO. He’s just a feisty, chippy player. Has been most of his career with us. Unfortunately it has resulted in some flags on this year, and if he keeps up the pace, might even kill a drive or two, so he needs to work on that.

But, I love it. Wish we had a few squirrels on D.

Edelman over 16 games at the same pace would have had 99 catches, 1140 yards and 8 TDs. Plus fielded punts all year. Pretty damn good year.

They've been issuing fines to players for plays that weren't penalized for more than a decade. That's not new..

What's interesting is that Edelman supposedly made two "crack-back" blocks that no one seems to remember..

I agree that cheap shots aren't tough or scrappy.. But if you're going to penalize him for something, you should be required to provide video evidence of it..

Larry Bird was a legendary trash talker...so was Red Auerbach, for that matter.

But both of those guys are substantive, and there was legitimacy there.

Shannon Sharpe was, and remains, a irrelevant blabbermouth.

He put on a uniform, avoided contact like it was flag football, and when he got the ball he ran very well.

I'm so happy I never had to be his teammate, because the effort in tuning him out would've been exhausting.

What?
Winfield had 3000 hits AND 400 taters back when both meant something, he’s HOF for sure. And Sharpe was the alltime leader in recs, yards, TD for TE when he retired. Two HOFDB’s for sure but the numbers don’t lie. It’s not the Hall of Nice.
