In an allowable exception that post should be copied to the Jets Suck thread

can The jets get to 5 titles before darnold retires?

Can the Jete get to as many playoff wins as Stephen Gostkowski before Darnit retires?
Fun fact: With his appearance in the Pats impending playoff game Gostkowski will have more playoff appearances in his career than the Jete have in their entire history, he already has 5 more playoff wins than the Jete franchise.

I have always believed that success in the nfl starts at the very top with strong, competent ownership.

To suck for 50 years means a half century of mediocre ownership.

And with woodhead Johnson at the helm, I do not see the mediocre ownership issue changing any time soon. The only celebrating in johnson’s Future will come after a thorough tapping of mrs. goddell, not from the jets winning the super bowl.

Well, after rewatching “The Two Bills” a couple days ago one of the main takeaways is that a major factor on BB landing in NE instead of taking over the NYJ in 2000 was Leon Hess’ death. Maybe BB just uses that circumstantial bit as a way to distance himself from, well, being ready to distance himself from Parcells again. But he seems genuine in his search for an owner with whom he shared a vision for the franchise and how his role interacted with the owner. Makes sense having grown up in the NYG and after having issues in CLE.

Hell, when the Oilers got theirs it wasn’t even the AFC East but the AFL East!

Which does not change in the least the fact that the Oilers/Titans have as many AFL/AFC East titles as the Jete, in spite of having left it 49 years ago. Now that is some serious Jete suckitude

So, you are saying that the Jets have only four more AFC East Championships than the Chicago Bears, who have never played in the AFC East.

Belichick and Parcells wouldn't even go into the Jets locker room. That how much that team sucks. Both of them looked like they were going to vomit.

Speaking of Parcells/Belichick, the only reason the Jets have TWO divisional titles is because of the team those two built that won the division in 1998 and 2002 (on a tiebreaker.) Outside of those two teams, they haven't won a division title since 1969. That's 49 years. There's only been 3-4 other teams to beat out...the law of averages is on trial for malpractice, defending itself with Jets suckitude facts.

pre Brady we were tied with them at 4. I think we only have 20 actually.

Jets fans must really really hate the ending when BOTH Belichick and Parcells show disgust at the idea of possibly having to go into the Jets locker room.. Parcells: "I'm not going in there, I'm telling you no." LMFAO

That is incredibly pathetic

That reminds me. I saw this Oilers jacket at s local mall the other day. Ooo mama.

I think it was 4 but Brady won the division his first year......the jets didn’t get to 4 until Brady’s second season

I think

So it was 4-3 pre Brady. Then 5-3 to 5-4 in Brady’s first 2 seasons.
