Well, after rewatching “The Two Bills” a couple days ago one of the main takeaways is that a major factor on BB landing in NE instead of taking over the NYJ in 2000 was Leon Hess’ death. Maybe BB just uses that circumstantial bit as a way to distance himself from, well, being ready to distance himself from Parcells again. But he seems genuine in his search for an owner with whom he shared a vision for the franchise and how his role interacted with the owner. Makes sense having grown up in the NYG and after having issues in CLE.

So, you are saying that the Jets have only four more AFC East Championships than the Chicago Bears, who have never played in the AFC East.

But he seems genuine in his search for an owner with whom he shared a vision for the franchise and how his role interacted with the owner. Belichick and Parcells wouldn't even go into the Jets locker room. That how much that team sucks. Both of them looked like they were going to vomit.

Speaking of Parcells/Belichick, the only reason the Jets have TWO divisional titles is because of the team those two built that won the division in 1998 and 2002 (on a tiebreaker.) Outside of those two teams, they haven't won a division title since 1969. That's 49 years. There's only been 3-4 other teams to beat out...the law of averages is on trial for malpractice, defending itself with Jets suckitude facts.
