don't get me wrong, I wasn't rooting for Mr Classy and his buddies out in KC but for the love of <insert diety of your choosing> they let the flipping Chiefs put up 30 on them??? So lets see, the Pats have beat the Jets (just lost to the Bills), the Chargers (thumped by the Chiefs), and the Bills (no further commentary needed). I'm not saying I think the Pats are any less of a team for it but with every team they've faced so far turning out to be a puffball I have concerns about what happens when they finally bump into a real team. I know BB will have them ready and all but....

tomorrow night will be a good test of their DBs, hopefully they keep up the same high level of play......

just thinkin out loud after checking the game center...

Re: f'ing chargers....

people have got to chill out! Patriots have been playing crappy team, but they are hardly games. Patriots have been dominating every phase of each of those games. This is NFL and not college so when you destroy 3 opponents in a row, it does mean you have a good team!

Re: f'ing chargers....

You know, I was thinking about how the Cowboys were playing a bunch of crappy teams and then as it turns out most of the NFL is "crappy" this year.

frankly...colts have had the tougher games of the 4-0 teams but we somehoew always avoid giving them props.

Re: f'ing chargers....

There are more bad teams than good this year
Very good..Pats/indy
Good..Cowboys,steelers

Who else?

Wow, you've just jumped right on that Colts band wagon.

If we can get past the 'Boys, I think there will be only 2 teams .....and everyone else.

Re: f'ing chargers....

The Ravens don't look so hot either. I guess Baltimore would like Adalius Thomas back on defense.

iam just pointing out the obvious which a lot of patsfans want to ignore.chill

Playful razzing. It's still way too early to judge quality wins at this point. Look at who the Colts have beat, an o-fer team, a .500 team that just lost to the Falcons, and the 2-1 Titans. Just yesterday they looked like they had beat up some pretty good teams, now it doesn't seem that way.

And the Donkeys suck.

Didn't these same DBs face the Bengals last year at this time?

There will be plenty of nail-biting time ahead. Let's enjoy the roll we are on.

Nothing will be settled until the Pats Colts game.

The Titans and Broncos are going to be in the hunt for their division or a WC.

Every team we've played thus far looks like they'll be picking in the top 10.

I'm definitely starting to temper my expectations now that I see how absolutely terrible the teams we've played are.

Same here. On the other hand, the Bills just got a win, so...maybe they don't suck AS MUCH as they look?

I thought Pittsburgh was going to be on the "look out for" list (with Indy & maybe Dallas), but maybe not, after today...OTOH the Pack is looking hot right now.

The Colts are a very good team, but their schedule is overrated. The Saints are as bad or worse than any team we have faced. The Texans didn't have Andre Johnson and lost Ahmad Green early in the game. The Texans just lost to the Falcons by 10 points and the Falcons could be the worst team in football. The Titans are 2-1, but one of their wins were against the winless Saints and they barely beat the Jags. The Broncos are 2-2 and they barely beat the Bills and beat the Raiders. Their margin of victory against these two teams combined are 4 points. Both the Bills and Raiders are in the bottom part of the league.

The Colts are right behind the Pats in the rankings in my mind, but I don't think their schedule is all that much tougher than the Pats' schedule.

The Pats have dominated in all three of their game. I don't care the level of competition, in today's NFL that is significant. Bad teams can and do still play Super Bowl contenders tough a lot of the time.

I'll give you the Titans, but the Broncos could very well be, and should be, 0-4 this season.

Lets try to remember, Every NFL coach watches the Patriots dismantle a team, then immediatly tries to figure it out and employs the exact same tactic to beat that same opponant when they face them.

We showed how to beat the JETS - Buffalo blueprinted our game-plan (albeit less effectively) and won. Miami tried to, they just suck so much they couldn't.

Ditto the Chargers - In which our GP pretty much consisted of make "cry me a" Rivers beat you without Gates. Green Bay and KC did the exact same thing we did, and both won.

Not to say that the Bills, Jets or Chargers are world beaters by any stretch, but you can make a case that 3 additional losses, in addition to the 3 against the Pats can be tied back to the Pats in some way or another. Buff, NY and SD are 3-9, and 6 of those losses can somehow (IMO) be traced back to US and people mimicing the success we had against then this early.
