Dorsett also posted a 6.70 3-cone, and has some short-area quickness skill, too. From what I've observed, Dorsett doesn't possess as much of the deep throw tracking/adjustment ability that Hogan and Gronk do. Patterson, who also has good long speed (4.42) doesn't really, either.
However, Patterson has the ability to use his speed for big YAC on intermediate-range throws. Dorsett may be able to do that, too, at some point.
This is a funny post considering that, in your last response to me in this thread, you yourself expressed doubt in this team’s chances to win the Super Bowl. Using your very definition, that makes you a quitter. Or are we ready to revisit that definition now? It's also a lot different then the quitters out there.
Well, I said that just from watching him. In my opinion, he's a lost soul that just doesn't have being a teammate on or off the field in him, as talented as he may have been. Too bad.
I haven’t seen enough deep balls to Dorsett to discern his tracking ability. I’d throw to him on a fly pattern once a game to him though and I’d probably have him decoy on 3-4 other plays.
No I’m talking about the type of immaturity that prevents people from having personal accountability and accepting rules. So equate Gordan's issues to snapping bras in PE? Hahaha
Please stop. You know I am confident in this teams chances. Never going to be %100. Your just further twisting what I say to avoid what you really said and feel. I will never give up on BB and TB until mathematically eliminated and you've already thrown in the towel with the 2 seed very much alive. This is a funny post considering that, in your last response to me in this thread, you yourself expressed doubt in this team’s chances to win the Super Bowl. The season is over. That's not crying. That's just calling it like it is.
2 for the useless blob Danny Shelton and 1 for Gordon.
So people on drink smoke weed and cheat on girlfriends because if demons? I guess colleges are demonic.Weed, alcohol and cheating on his girlfriend. He has demons.
Nobody is twisting your words. You expressed doubt in the team’s chances. You just used different words than I did, but the end product is the same. That’s not being confident in the team’s chances at all. It’s why I suspect you didn’t respond to my very reasoned response yesterday. Shall I go ahead and quote that post and break it down? Or do you already see that, using your own definition of the word “quitter” in this thread, you “quit” on your team? Please stop. You know I am confident in this teams chances. Never going to be %100. You are doing exactly that but please feel free to quote any posts of mine where you think I quit. But be sure to include your quote just so everyone knows what real quitting is.Nobody is twisting your words. You expressed doubt in the team’s chances. The season is over.
Here's how it works for people like Gordon: It's been reported that he had a traumatic childhood. Someone who experiences serious trauma at a very young age usually suffers impaired brain development that prevents them from having an adult emotional filter later on (hence, what outsiders observe as immaturity and lack of impulse control). Combine that with a genetic predisposition to addiction and it's a recipe for a troubled life. These poor souls engage in substance abuse to escape deep-seated emotional pain and most of the time don't even realize why because their primary (subconscious) drive is to escape the anguish vs. bring it to the surface and heal it. The only solution is heavy duty therapy and the "right" kind of drugs. What if the issues IS immaturity and impulse control?
It would look exactly like it does.

05- Ref didn't call a touchback
06-we were final four team
09-Takes a year after such a significant injury
10-no excuse
11-present we were final four team
Maybe they fall a game or 2 short but coaching and QB give them a great shot at another SB.
Feel sorry? Naaah......but putting in an effort to understand the situations of others is the decent thing.
It’s the same way with @ssholes.....not all of them have the choice
This is hilarious. You think these 2 things are the same thing. The bolded expresses seeds of doubt in the team’s ability to bring home the Lombardi. If there was no doubt, you would say unequivocally that there is no way they WON’T win the Super Bowl. But you couldn’t even bring yourself to do that even when posed with a very simplistic rebuttal from me. There’s a reason for that. The team doesn’t have enough. You know that, even if you won’t outright admit it. So why not put away this dog and pony show of what you think it means to be a true fan (you’re not), let go, admit that this team has some fatal flaws which will more than likely cost the team Lombardi #6, and have a real conversation about this? Or are you going to prove my OP right, dig your heels in, and keep going down this path? I’ve already backed you into a corner with relative ease and caused you to second guess yourself and the team here. I’m not sure what you have left to hold onto in this debate (if you can even call it that). With each successive post in this thread, I’m showing you more and more that, at some point in time long ago, you became a fan of the man in the hoodie first and the laundry second.
Brady tried a couple deep throws to Dorsett early this season - one unwisely into double-coverage that got picked, and one on which Dorsett was able to break double-coverage, but couldn't quite position himself to catch the ball cleanly before a defender caught up and knocked it out of his hands.
Most of the time, it seems to me, that Dorsett has been running shallow crossers against zone and sideline come backs against man (and he's been very effective on those). So, the Pats have established a tendency in how they're using him. Because that tendency has been established, against the right matchup, a double move might now result in a big play.
But, yes, Dorsett's speed should allow him to drag a defender or two with him running one of the deep routes in the levels concept.
It can pull the single high safety in man or Cover 1 and he could torch Cover zero if Brady gets the time to set and plant. Big if, though.
They’re both doubt. Doubt is ultimately the reason why you (incorrectly, I might add) cited me as being a quitter. If there isn’t doubt, then why include the word “maybe” in there? What’s your reasoning behind that? Give that some good thought before responding (if you even do). I’m legitimately interested. This is hilarious. You think these 2 things are the same thing.
I said "Maybe they fall a game or 2 short but coaching and QB give them a great shot at another SB."
You said "The season is over. That's not crying. That's just calling it like it is."
You are now going past quitting yourself and are now trolling those who very clearly have not. But feel free to keep digging your hole deeper.
