Regular season: 12-14
Playoffs: 4-1
Overall: 16-15
@Pitt 10-11 (playoffs 2-1)
@NE 6-4 (playoffs 2-0)

Brady
Regular Season: 8-2
Playoffs: 3-0 (all AFCCG)
@Pitt 6-2(2-0 playoffs)
@NE 5-0 (1-0 playoffs)

Belichick is 0-1 without Brady against Pitt losing 33-10 at home in 2008 with Cassel.

It blows me away that 21 of 31 matchups have been @ Pitt with the playoffs only being a 3-2 margin. It is much more even in this era but still.

Including the Giants and their "Brady lost to Eli, twice, haha!!" fans?

Yes. It is ironic how they're like "haha" Brady lost to sucky Eli Manning and then begin their next thread about how Eli Manning belongs in the Hall of Fame (he doesn't.) But I hate the Steelers way more. If they had beaten the Patriots in just one big playoff game, you'd never, ever hear the end of it from that entire fan base and organization. Their ****iness even shines through in being the doormat.

Though we were not winning Super Bowls, we kind of held our own against Pitt during their 70s Dynasty. We were a tough out for them, beating them in Pitt in 76 tough game, and losing a MNF season opener in Foxboro to defending champs in OT 16-13. I remember it was some of those games against the Steelers back then that me realize the Pats were for real. Same with how we smashed Oakland back then too.

Can someone tell me why we almost always have to face Pittsburgh on the road? It’s an annoying trend lol

Damn, that 7-6 loss in the '97 divisional round still stings...

I can't believe Todd Collins didn't chase Kordell out of bounds.....and then Armstrong gives up a big sack (against Vrabel)......

The Steelers have been hard to like ever since they kept running their mouths after losing to the Pats in 01- namely Porter, Kordell, Flowers and a couple others on that team, saying they were the superior team and couldn’t believe they lost to the weak Patriots or something like that. Even going into the opener in 02 they kept thumping their chest about that they were the better team and the Patriots smashed them. :)

And guys like Porter whining about spygate for years after that along with a bunch of their media and fan base. They do get defensive when you ask them about Dr Richard Rydze and Mike Webster and PEDs. :D

The current Steelers are tolerable, Tomlin notwithstanding. The Ratbirds have replaced them as my hateable team.

We’ll face them again in Pit next year I believe as we are playing the AFC North. After that the series goes back to Foxboro for 4 years.
