506 Game Maps for 9 December Week 14 2018

I live in Charleston area and we often get Pats games it seems, even in the 1PM slot. Nobody here is watching the Panthers, that's for sure.

But do you see what I see? It does look like there is a small blue area (indicating Pats/Miami game) over what looks like Charleston.

Sports bars show all games. The ones near me on the island have serious parking issues allow smoking. Smoke not great but doesn't bother me but I need clothes washed & shower on returning home. Will have wife drive me & pick up.

Not sure how. But, I have yahoo sports app on my phone. They have a live stream of many games. I got our game at Tennessee even though it wasn’t on my local CBS

For any sports game, you can get good streams from reddit. reddit nfl streams and go to the pats page and choose one of the verified streamers. i watch games there no problem

great i get the jets and bills.

**** western mass.

I get the same and I am an hour from Jets game. Off to a sports bar

Which player is from there or played there?

First time in months that the Pats won't be televised here.

Do Tampa Bay residents prefer Cincy/Rams over Miami? Doesn't make sense. Or do they want to force everybody to watch the Bucs?

Cbs is a single game this week. Tampa area at 1pm gets the bucs game on Fox. At 4pm Tampa area gets two games: LA game on Cbs and the Pitt/Dallas game on Fox.

To watch the Patriots at 1pm you have 4 options: 1, if you live on the outskirts of the Tampa area, get a REALLY high and amplified antenna. 2, Go to a bar that shows NFL games. 3. Sponge of a neighbor who has Dtv-NFL ticket and can be convinced the Patriot Miami game is must watch TV. 4, Use that Internet thing that I've heard so darn much about that claims there are ways to watch sports for free:)

Reddit NFL streams is not perfect, but you can get the game without too much interruption depending on the link.

It's true.

You can watch the game via your smart phone. Just Google Reddit NFL streams about 30 minutes prior to kick off. There will be threads for every game. Open the game you like and scroll down to find a link from the several available. Some links want you to register for some BS so you may have to open a few to find a good one that does not put you through that.

Assuming that you have a smart TV and wifi hook a laptop up to the TV and log in. The TV is basically a huge monitor.

Not sure, or even sure if that's the case. Nobody's from here, everybody is from Ohio, the North East, New Jersey, or Michigan.

The rare native doesn't think the NFL applies to them. Their football teams are the Gamecocks and the Tigers.

A friend of a friend claims to use firefox with the safescript addon/extension Then chances of any funnies being put on your PC when visiting these unknown sites is quite small. It's a PITA because you should enable only one site's script at a time before finding enough scripts loaded to play the TV feed. But it gives you piece:) of mind, At least that's what the friend of my friend says...

The local CBS station refuses to go head-to-head against the Bucs.

At some point that black or white strategy becomes a poor business decision.
Cincinnati at Chargers ends up going head-t0-head with Philly at Dallas. Eagles-Cowboys will crush Cincy-Chargers in the ratings. They would definitely be better off with Pats-Dolphins; they may even be better off with Baltimore at KC as well.

Similar scenario happened last week. The local CBS station blindly avoided going head-to-head against a Bucs game (despite the thousands of empty seats that screamed how much people in the area don't care about the Bucs).

Result is they broadcast KC at Oakland; there are no transplanted fans of either team in this area. That game got annihilated in the local ratings, as Fox was showing the Pats-Vikings in the same late time slot. They would have been better off broadcasting any other early game (Balt-Atl, Cle-Hous, Denv-Cinc, Indy-Jax).

EDIT:

My bad, the local CBS station has/had no choice.

Per NFL broadcast rules, when a team is playing at home there can be no other NFL game broadcast at the same time. Tampa Bay was at home last week and is at home Sunday as well. CBS is not permitted to air another game in that time slot.

This all started years ago, before the Sunday Ticket became a big thing. The NFL wants more than just the money you paid for a ticket. The league did not want no-shows staying at home when another (better) game was on TV. The owners want you to also spend money on parking, beer, soda, food and souvenirs at the stadium.

At that time they believed that having no other game on tv would compel people to go to the game even if that team was out of contention. The owners felt too many fans with tickets in that situation would stay at home and watch that other more compelling game - and keep more money in their own wallets rather than depositing that cash into the owners bank accounts.

Fast forward to the current year. So much money is derived from network broadcast rights. Wouldn't it be more profitable to go back to the old business model of two 1:00 games and two 4:00 games? Or is that not done to appease DirecTV, and make the Sunday Ticket more appealing?

After the Pats game there's no game worth watching in the Eastern Mass area........boring games IMHO...Would love to see $hitsburg get beat up on :D
