CBS probably protected it.I'm surprised this game hasn't been flexed yet, given the seeding implications.

Pitt is so stupid to even talk about this now. Why not keep their opponents guessing?
You clearly don't play fantasy. It means you root for a 51-14 game where Connor gets 200 yards and two TDs in garbage time to account for the 14 points. You have Connor on your FFT? Does that mean you'll be rooting for him in the Pats-Steelers game if he plays?

I've played many games where my opponent benefits if the Patriots do well, and I've never had a problem with it. Means I can't lose either way.

Per-fect-ly said.Sorry the kid is hurt. He was having a nice year. Glad to hear its not serious.
Nobody cries for the Patriots.
Thats football.
It’s pretty easy to root against your fantasy player when he goes up against the Pats.
Does the amount of the winnings matter?
Not to me. We play pretty low stakes though ($50 buy-in).
It’s part of my moral code. Never root against the Patriots under any circumstances. Just have to compartmentalize when it might cost you money.
There have also been times where I was certain they wouldn’t cover a point spread (and was correct) but I didn’t bet against them because I didn’t want to have that voice in the back of my head rooting for me to make money at their expense.
Yes. The commissioner is looking into it.Seems like the key players of several teams this year have gotten hurt 1-2 weeks before playing the Pats.

Against the 2016 defense, maybe. Against the 2017 version, he had a field day. This run defense has been more like 2017's than 2016's. Luckily for us, he won't be there either.

Big Ben will probably do something stupid as usual and the Pats will win....
