They need to play him back into more of a FS role. The results speak for themselves. The experiment failed. He’s so much better when he can keep his eyes on the QB. If he’s in trail, he’s hesitant to turn and look for the ball.

He is also much faster than he is quick. I get that he is pretty versatile and knows the defense well but it seems like a waste to not use him as FS.

That would be like the dream super bowl. I’m sure it would be a shoot out

It would also be pretty rad for Brady to go out a champion after beating a favored, high powered offensive juggernaut Rams team.... Cause I like me some symmetry.

Name Ricky Proehl honorary captain.

Don't wanna judge Patterson too hard for not doing well at RB because on most plays the blocking was horrible. When we get Michel back I'd like to see Patterson still used in the backfield and also running routes from the backfield. If the defense isn't fully expecting a run I think 84 could, in fact, be an effective RB.

How was Gordon disciplined? He had to watch a boring game?

One very positive thought....no turnovers in this game.

Defense was good and they did what they were expected to against a garbage opponent.

Offensively it was clearly a struggle. They moved the ball but stalled far too much. The absence of a running game was evident. Thank God Michel's injury wasn't as bad as it initially appeared. We're gonna need him.

It was an ugly, mostly unenjoyable game but a win never the less. The Pats looked like a mess in the beginning of the season but at this point I'll gladly take 6-2. Yet to see a complete game with both units.

They badly need Michel back. The Bills were playing, and stopping, the run in nickel and dime packages. Combine that with Mason leaving the game and it was no bueno. This was also by far Brady’s worst game of the season, even before Mason went out. He’ll need to be better next week as well. I suspect he will be.

Detroit was Brady’s worst game of the season.

BB is known for finding a way to limit another team’s star

I didn't say otherwise. All I said was that I believe Gurley (this year) is better than the 2001 M. Faulk that we faced in the SB.

It felt like the Patriots threw all night, but they actually accumulated a semi-respectable number of rushes, although the results were less than stellar. Nice to see Tom pacing the team in yards per carry, though. GOAT.

I don’t want to see him back there anymore. His pad level is way too high and he got de-cleated up the B-gap on one occasion. He’s a fumble waiting to happen as a RB.

This rams team reminds me of the 01 rams
