Mookie is the league MVP and put on the at bat of the year during the regular season with that 13 pitch AB, that culminated in a Grand Slam, anyone who doesn’t think a guy who hits like him and his a gold glove defensive player isnt a great player issmoking something.
No I’m making a judgement off the fact he is a mistake hitter and thats about it. If you can execute you can get him out. That means off speed away and down, mixed in with plus FB on the black. He is reticent to go with the pitch, and as I pointed out before is manifested with how teams align defensively.
In the post season pitchers more often can execute that gameplan. Make a mistake inside and its gone. Thats not good enough in the post season. Fix that and I will change my opinion. That and the talk is a 250-300 million contract. No thanks.
He's dealing tonight.starters for rest of playoffs: price out, eovaldi IN
Let him go 8 and bring Hembree for the 9thHe's dealing tonight.
Hembree scares me but with a 10 run lead it might be okLet him go 8 and bring Hembree for the 9th

The more rest the better for Evoldi, we need Porcello to have his control tomorrow and save Sale for game 1 against Houston.why to test him out?
i really would want to leave eovaldi in there...he will prob need another 6+ days of rest before starting the next game regardless if he finished game or not

Of course he is a great player. I never said otherwise. He needs a hitting approach adjustment. People talk about how quick his hands are. This is true. Then why can’t he look outside, and the use those quick hands to yank and inside pitch? If you pay someone 25-30 a year I’d expect that.
Actually, when I go to a game, I'm fully involved. There's a lot of subtle stuff going on and it's interesting to me. But I also see a lot of the spectators socializing and playing with their phones.Years ago I went to a Bankofamericasox playoff game vs. Tampa Bay. It amazed me how most of the crowd was paying more attention to their smartphones, chatting with friends, etc. I even saw a couple folks reading the newspaper. At a playoff game. In Fenway Park. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz ...
Obviously you give enough of one to respond.Thrilling revelation. Who GaF?
Or just doesnt know the game, no shame in that.
