What time?

Does anyone know if the NFL Films youtube channel puts up the entire a football life video? The videos often look short at about 25 minutes. That sounds like too much ad time for an hour show.

Edit: Just watched the Carson Palmer a football life. They just cut it off at the 25 minute mark.

Goosebumps for an hour straight is an interesting sensation!

I SAW BLACK

My lord, when he talked about going into the locker room after a playoff loss, Pete Carroll saying everything is ok, other players laughing and then he blows up at everyone, I was ready to run through a brick wall!

Willie was so important to the success and foundation of the Patriots Dynasty. He controlled that locker room, and he wouldn’t let anyone slack. He started and exemplified the “Patriot Way”.

You think it would of made a difference if we had Willie in 06/07?

Just a reminder, the video they put up on the youtube NFL Films channel is not the full video. Just so you know in case you decide to watch it when they put it up.

Sadly, we’ll never know....but positive pats speculation says YEAH BABY!!!

A few of his sacks today would net the offense 15 yards.

A very nicely done film about him and his career. I like the whole "A Football Life" series, because it lets you get a peek behind the curtain, a look at a player or coach who made a difference, through the eyes of those around him.

It's too bad that this series, as well as other NFL Films products, aren't considered for Oscars. They ought to be.

Put this man in Canton!

I kind of forget how many big plays he made leading up to the his 3 winning Super Bowls.

I would like to hear HOF QB Kurt Warner's opinion on whether he feels Willie should be in the HOF.

I would have like to seen a little more of his family life, they didn't even interview his wife or daughters.

I watched it end to end.
Great.
He was a finalist for Canton last year. There are so many deserving (long time) Pats from the 01--07 period, that it's going to be tough for all of them to get elected, given the Haters among the voters. Willie, Ty Law, Brewski, Rodney...the list goes on...I hope that at least two of the four make it in. #4 and #12 (and eventually BB) are "locks." How many more will the voters let in?

PS: with each passing year it will get more and more absurd that Jerruh is in Canton and Bob Kraft is not.

The series was nominated for whatever category/award they are classified in. I don't remember if they won.

For the problems we encountered in 2006 - the criminally incompetent zebras, interference from the owner's box, no Rodney Harrison - probably not; in 2007 - Brady hobbled, no Stephen Neal for the last 5/8 of the game, going for it on 4th/13 during the 3rd quarter because Nick OxyKaczur sucked on 3rd/6, Pierre Woods allowing Ahmad Bradshaw to re-take a fumble from under her during the 2nd quarter - possibly. If Willie had been on the field instead of Woods, there is No Feckin Way that he allows Bradshaw to to out-muscle him, thereby preventing the Pats to gain control at the Vagiants 30. That's 3 points right there.

Willie Mac was Cat like quick

He needs to get into Canton really fast.
The main thing that stood out to me was that even just a decade ago , defensive players were hard hitters, allowed to play properly. Some of those hits were vicious. now they are handicapped. I hate what the league has done to them ! A good defensive battle was as exciting as a good offensive show down . We hardly get to see a really good defensive game anymore !

Yes, intimidation was just as important as any other tool on the defensive side. Balance of power has shifted to the offense....
