If JE, Gronk and Hogs catch their respective passes they hang 50 on these guysAgreed. The turnovers being self inflicted is becoming a thing and needs to be addressed.
I too am sad White didn't catch that pass because it cost me a lot of points in FF (playing White, up against Luck and Ebron). But Brady threw that ball at his ankles, almost impossible to catch. What was Brady doing?Throw out analysis. W is the only thing that matters. Beautiful game from Brady, despite the box score. Excellent throws all night.
Mostly I'm sad White didn't catch the 3rd down pass with 3 minutes left, because I wanted Sony to get 2 more yards for his second straight 100 yard rushing game. Oh, and we might have been able to keep them to 17, instead of giving up the most garbage of garbage time score.
C'mon. I want my style points.

Agree. JE always gets a passEdelman gets a pass for this being his first game back. Gronk for some reason tipped the ball in the air after it hit his hands. As a receiver if you know you’re not going to catch the ball, you should just knock it down. In that scenario the receiver becomes a defensive back.
Amazing what 2 fmr 1000 yard talented receivers can do for an offenseIt's funny how just adding Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon makes a WR corps look different. Game of inches.
And they will. That doesn’t change the fact that they were flukes and that the Patriots were on their way to two scoring drives in the midst of them. The last thing I thought I'd be doing this morning was agree with the guy who complains about "soy boys", but how many INTs of that nature need to happen this year before we consider it a thing? Obviously doesn't reflect on Brady, but those turnovers were created by the Patriots, not their opponents, so even if we should have better things to do than worry about it, the team should absolutely make it a point of emphasis moving forward.
Amazing how Brady again looked like Brady once they came aboard instead of a guy that was overthrowing or underthrowing his receivers.Amazing what 2 fmr 1000 yard talented receivers can do for an offense

They never scored again. How is that momentum? You do realize Indianapolis cut it to 7 and had all the momentum in the 3d quarter.....?
Pass rush was there in the first half, I think we just let up in the second half. I want to see Flowers snap count.
You're right.
I don't wish for anyone to get injured, but as Mike Lombardi says, sometimes you're one injury away from being a good team.
The best thing about McCourty right now is that they would save $9.5M on their cap in 2019 if they cut him next spring. There is no way he's on the team next year at a $13.435M cap number.

Look, we've seen how many of these Thursday Night games? They are ALWAYS a crapshoot, no matter which teams are playing. The MAIN objective is GET THE WIN, REST UP, MOVE ON. That the Patriots DID this while never trailing in this game is 100% fine with me.Everyone seems to forget that these players are human, and 4 quarters of football with just 4 days rest, is HARD on the body AND the MIND.The first half was no contest and this NO ONE can argue. The 2nd half had numerous instances of tiredness both mental and physical. A bad team LOSES a game like this. The Pats won it. This is a GOOD team that hopefully gets better.
Since the league kicked up its Thursday night scheduling in 2006, the Patriots are 7-1. They haven’t lost on a Thursday since the Matt Cassel-led squad lost to Brett Favre and the Jets in overtime back in 2008. Since then, the Patriots have dominated, winning seven straight games by an average margin of victory of 18 points.
That record, though, does include a Thanksgiving afternoon game played in 2010, and it also includes the 2008 game, when only select teams were chosen to play on Thursday nights late in the season.
If you look strictly at the Patriots during this new era of Thursday Night Football, the one in which every team must suit up on a Thursday once ever year, then the Patriots have been perfect.
2017: W 19-14 at Tampa Bay
2016: W 27-0 vs. Houston
2015: W 36-7 vs Miami
2014: W 27-25 vs. New York Jets
2013: W 13-10 vs. New York Jets
2012: W 49-19 at New York Jets
(Excluded from this record are the season-opening Thursday night games, as those games don’t come on a short week and thus eliminate many of the issues that players have with the mid-week games. The Patriots are 3-1 in those Thursday night openers under Belichick.)
