Anyone here still agree with benching Gordon?

If he had played and run the wrong route or pulled up his hammy more you wouldve killed BB for that. The issue is they have been a sieve on defense. Offense is shorthanded , we know it already. they have absolutley been manhandled at the line on defnese. that is the trickle down effect of all this.

Losing Amendola was a bigger problem than losing Cooks, I think. That 3rd and 8 was a play where in previous years Brady would go through four progressions, not necessarily in order. Gronk, White, Amendola, Edelman. Dorsett and Patterson are poor replacements for those final two.

Barring Brown and Shelton deciding to play well and a trade for a LB, I don't see much reason to be optimistic about the prospects of this defense.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Valentine get promoted to the active roster this week.

A loss against Miami in a week could put the season on the rails. That's a must-win, and if they pull it out things are looking up, especially with the return of Edelman.

Next week's game is massive.

These past two weeks have been partly depressing, partly frustrating. They've been outplayed and outcoached in every regard.
