The Josh Gordon Thread: Pats Officially Acquire Gordon for Fifth-Round Pick

Comparing their off the field issue is exactly what's ludicrous.
Claiming that they possessed off the field issues is NOT "comparing their off the field issues".

OK

Let me get this one straight. Gordon loves football so much that he did not have his crap together to be at training camp on time and everyday?

The guy has his faults. He’s an idiot but i think that relationship in Cleveland was gonna die out sooner or later. I hope he goes to the right team. If he goes back home i think the Texans would be a much better fit than the cowgirls.

I would learn to fly to get Malcolm for Amari myself

Cooper was just 'okay' last season and has started slow. Carr hasn't helped matters. Basically, they have started moving Cooper around to jump start him.

As for Malcolm Brown, in the one game that matters he did get some penetration against Houston ..... that's exactly what Oakland is looking for. Unfortunately for Oakland, that's what we want from him as well. Both teams will have another game of data tomorrow.

Nah, maybe they were afraid the toxicity of Gordon could rub off on their impressionable first round QB. I think it's the responsible thing to do.

They got tired of his act. Frankly i think it’s good for both parties. He’s not in a contract year yet.

A person can love someone/something and still not be able to keep himself straight enough to do right by it/him. Everyone on the planet knows this. Well, everyone except you, apparently.

I think Darnold can handle the influence.

Regardless, he doesn't seem too concerned about a drug test or suspension...
Please, it's impolite to interrupt adults in conversation. Besides, it is past your bedtime. Did you take your Saturday night bath?

The further south the better.

Mexico weed would hit Houston first.

He won't go through waivers, apparently. Since he's a fully vested veteran he'd just go right to FA is what PFT is saying.

You have surveyed everyone on the planet?

You never asked me.

Which means if bill wants him hes his

The Chris Carter story, if you don't remember: Carter failed three drug tests over a three-year period before his coach, Buddy Ryan, finally gave up on him and released him.

Carter says it saved his life. The Minnesota Vikings decided to give Carter another chance and claimed him. He turned it around.

Would Gordon? Odds are, no. But his talent may be worth the risk, if the price were, say, a 6th round pick.

Not interested.

If you think after all this time and all the headaches he has caused that the Browns are randomly trying to trade him right now then you are crazy.

This is a last ditch effort to get any value back they can before he gets popped again. IE they see the writing on the wall and know the instant the NFL decides to test Gordon he's done. Obviously they saw something to make them believe this is the case.

He knows he's on his last chance, and he's still doing it. Nothing anyone says or tries to do will make him stop doing it if that's the case. Anyone team who trades for him is trading for a player who will be suspended by the NFL permanently sometime in the near future and will be a headache in the mean time cause of the media fire storm.

No thank you. I'm not trading for him or signing him. Let him be a headache for his last few games to someone else.

Naw i think not making the meeting was the last straw not him smoking more weed. I said that relationship was toxic. Sometimes you get tired being in the same place for a long time especially a team with a losing culture.
