I'm way too tired this morning and read the thread title as Patriots working out Gary Coleman and thought what you talkin' 'bout Willis?
I think Gary Coleman is pretty slow these days.

Due diligence.
Dez?Makes too much sense to sign Dez. Hogan has been bland. Not a #1 guy and sufferes with no JE. Much better #2.
Dez can get contested balls and has a chip.
I am honestly very surprised by that. He seemed to have issues with his hands during his time in Cleveland and then there were the news about him being overwhelmed by the Bills playbook.
But then again they need to take shots at young guys because the established guys are getting old. Can't be any worse than McCarron. Low risk / high reward.
He won't have much of an impact because it'll take him a few weeks to get up to speed and by then, Edelman will be back. Hogan, Edelman, Dorsett and Gronk is a really good core with Michel/Burkhead/White as the back. Regardless, i like the upside and depth he brings to a thin corps.
Doesn't Coleman have some experience with punt returns? Still not sure why they don't give Patterson a shot back there
No.15 two year ago and got cut twice by two horrible teams?
Brandon Beane clarifies why Corey Coleman was cutColeman caught only one pass out of 62 snaps in three preseason games, and whenever he was on the field, he seemed lost and out of sorts trying to operate in Brian Daboll’s complex offense.
Despite the fact that Beane said the speedster “tried hard. He really did,” it wasn’t enough to make Coleman earn a roster spot over unproven talents like Robert Foster and Ray-Ray McCloud III.
“Where he came in to learn a new offense, he just didn’t jell. It’s one of those things you ask yourself, ‘Have we given this enough time?’ Beane said. “The talent’s there. Anybody that’s been around the practice field, you see he has a skill set. But we just never were able to make it mesh on the field with him, and it’s a production business.”
