I'm just of the opinion that we need the bodies. We've always had like 5 RBs... why not now? When Ridley went down, White and Vereen stepped up. Getting rid of Bolden and Gill is against everything we've done in the past: run by committee... don't get me wrong, Mike was average, but I would still like to have him in this situation.

Yeah, I mean they have Burkhead, a 1st round pick, and White. They're not in bad shape at running back. Hill's special teams work is going to be more difficult to replace

Between the awful kickoff coverage and now the lack of depth at RB with Hill out, have to think Belichick's rethinking his decision to cut Bolden

some of the worst special teams coverage today imho over the past several years....just putrid.. Also the run D with their sloppy tackling...has allowed Texans to be even in this game

Hill looked good but he's a third string running back, this isn't fatal.

He's been playing a lot of special teams and is the only RB on the roster with any power. The only healthy RB who runs the ball is now Burkhead (since White is sparingly used as a runner). Michel is an unknown and injured. Burkhead is a good player but likely a rotational guy

Not fatal, but definitely a big blow to an already thin unit.
