Sure, but we have a roster of 52 (51 with Izzo to IR) and we are not going to play the first month with Hogan, Dorsett and Patterson, right? Right??
We will probably add a 4th but unless they return punts I’d expect them to be inactive.

He has a 2018 cap hit of 9.3m dollars. Do you think that Belichick is going to pay that via trade, or are you suggesting that he’ll be cut and somehow make his way to us? Either way, I think it’s difficult to imagine.

If Belichick were going to pay good money for a WR, he’d likely want him here for the spring and summer, so that he could learn our system and build something with Brady. You can never rule it out, but I would be surprised.

Supafly, you're making the same mistake rookies make when it comes to the salary cap. His Detroit cap hit would not be the Cap hit the Pats would see. The Pats would only be responsible for his salary of $7m. So a $7M cap hit.

As I posted earlier, the only way I think they'd trade for Tate is if he agreed to an extension that was Pats friendly.. And I just don't see it since Tate will be looking for one last big payday.

Webb or Lauletta is intriguing but maybe they want Etling.
Would you rather have Webb or Hoyer?
