Lafell came off pup and just wasn't right the year he dropped everything under the sun. I too think he could contribute for us if given a second chance.
Mayo was very overrated. While he collected many tackles, it was always after the damage was done. His presence did not make much of an impact. He was not a Patrick Willis, Bowman or Kuechly.
He was a good player, but did not warrant the Pats taking him that early in the draft. Curtis Lofton was a better value.
