My reaction every time I see a mosslost post:

Actually, not that surprising. A relative worked for BB about 6 years ago and still gets texts a couple of times a year from him. My relative will still text BB to congratulate him on some important win or milestone and BB always gets back to him even if it's just a simple "thanks". BB is not as cold as he comes off but he's private so he's selective as to who he lets into his world. I have no personal experience with BB but my relative does and texting Jimmy just says to me that he must have really liked him.

Probably wanted to keep him instead of Brady until Kraft intervened.

You are being just a little naive if you do not yet accept the Belichick did not want to ship out Jimmy. And that he wanted to win here, with Jimmy.

How do snowflakes ever manage to get through a single day given the seemingly infinite battles they must wage to demonstrate moral superiority, battles that often trigger their delicate sensibilities?

Bizarre strange pretty much sums it up for me.

I can only infer from this that you've never been fortunate to have a good leader.

I've had 3 bosses who are still friends today, who looked out for me and one got me a promotion. (Lead fry chef now)

This is 100% fine, Belichick loves a lot of his players.

Wrong.

It’s embarrassing. But I put much more importance into the confirmation that Bill dumped Jimmy on the 49ers with literally no negotiations and no due diligence. The 49ers were shocked that Bill called asking for just a 2nd round pick and literally accepted the trade within 10 minutes. Bill put his own ego to want to see his guy succeed ahead of doing even the bare minimum to get the best return he could get for the team. It’s nothing less than insubordination.
