Jabar Gaffney must’ve bought drugs from Reche Caldwell.

In February 2000, Gaffney was charged with allegedly stealing $245 and a watch from the Florida Field locker room during the high school state championships,[18] but the prosecutor placed him in a pretrial diversion program. After Steve Spurrier kicked him off the team in December 1999, he was eventually allowed to earn his way back onto the squad but forfeited his scholarship for a year.[19]

During the 2001 season, Gaffney and another athlete forcefully detained a 15-year-old boy who was stealing motor scooters from their apartment, and held him until police arrived. The boy's mother later alleged that Gaffney beat, kicked, choked and attempted to drown her son. The police declined to file charges and the state attorney agreed, stating the mother's allegations were inconsistent with the evidence and no jury would convict given the circumstances.[20]

In 2006, Gaffney was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a handgun in New Jersey.[21]

In 2010, Gaffney was charged with non-violent resisting arrest.[22]

In January 2016, he was arrested for marijuana and drug possession.[23]

In October 2017, Gaffney was arrested for domestic battery.[24]

Even with all that baggage, he still should've been re-signed after the 2008 season.

Both of those young men are blasts from the past.
Throw in Donte' Stallworth and we had quite a crew.
Phew
Another former Patriots pass catcher in trouble with the law......but no loss of life on Gaffney's resume.
A giant step forward for the hands team

Bleh. Too bad. Gaffney was Money.

Seems that he and Sheppard are Cousins.

Editor's Note: God forbid that I should either find a Lady who's so damaged that she cheats without reason or that I give an undamaged Lady a reason...But should such an horrific eventuality come to pass, I sure's Hell won't disgrace myself by seeking vengeance. o_O

Onward and upward.

He made some great plays for us. I have no idea he had such a rap sheet.
May as well add “stabbing” the backside of the Steeler defense on that double pass from Moss and Brady.

Wow, didn't know Gaffney had such as rap sheet. Very disappointing.

Side question: who was better for us stat-wise, Gaffney or Caldwell? I'm guessing Gaffney.

Tom could've learned a few things from Gaffney on how to properly respond to his deflategate accusers...oh well.

I remember hearing Brady's very first response when the question of deflating footballs was brought up to him on radio. He laughed at the question. He wasn't laughing for long though.

I'm just not impressed with his rap sheet. In other words, a 20 year old stole a watch, held a suspect until police arrived, possessed a handgun, resisted arrest and was arrested on marijuana? Although, a mother did complain did complain to the police:rolleyes:.

Easily Gaffney. Caldwell lasted a season and did catch 60+ balls because Brady had few options. Gaffney was productive for three seasons.
