I was hoping PFT would carry this but I haven't seen anything there about Peyton except how he gave a pep talk to the Broncos and another headline where Peyton may start calling football games in the booth. ugh. It appears Peyton took back the single season TD record by cheating.If this was about Brady it would be 24/7 news and he would be banned from Football. It’s not the crime that bothers me so much, it’s the cover up.

Here's the deal. When it comes to Peyton Manning, everyone expected him to be great and therefore everyone wanted to be right. He was the golden boy on a historic franchise that didn't have a huge winning pedigree so nobody was jealous if he got a few here or there (unlike Brady who everyone was wrong about and he dominated the league so everyone was both wrong and jealous). Therefore he got every excuse his whole career.

So people will make excuses here.
