I'd like to see a Baja Fresh in the area, love their fish tacos. But fast food in general = bad arteries leading to erectile dysfunction.

Baja Fresh kicks ass. Their grilled shrimp burritos are very good.

Any other western Mass posters who know the struggle of having to drive all the way to Chicopee (of all places...) just for some ChickFilA? Maybe it's for the best...if I could go there every day I probably would.

I didn't think they were even in Massachusetts. Tons of them down here in SC and there's always a 20-car line in the drive thru and the inside is always packed with people. They are so efficient it rarely takes more than five minutes to get an order.

Feel a little bad for BB having to be filmed ordering fast food, like he can't have any privacy. Shouldn't have won all those games/super bowls.

Since I am right on the state border I just go to the one in Enfield.

That's because they actually hire intelligent individuals (high school kids and college kids) and pay them a bit better as opposed to some loser that dropped out of high school and can barely speak the English language but thinks he/she is entitled to $15 per hour without the requisite business acumen to understand that, if that happens, they'll be replaced by machines. There's a sharp difference between McDonald's employees and Chick Fil-A employees.

Funny that you say that b/c Chick Fil-A is terrible for you, and for some reason I thought that it was an acceptable, healthier alternative vs the other fast food crap, until I started using an app to watch my carbs/sat fats/sugar.

All of that stuff is just terrible for you. Way worse than I ever thought.

Fast Food is all the same over processed crap that adds way too much in it to be “tastier” and become a pseudo addiction.

You really need to rip apart half the meal, at a minimum, to get the nutritional value to outweigh the negatives.

I stopped eating Fast Food four years ago. You’re better off making a diet of pure macros and then only going off it when you are out to eat or on social occasions.

I forgot to mention how uncharacteristically polite and attentive the employees are as well.

Thanks for the heads up, so to speak.

Thats my biggest problem with California-based In-N-Out Burger. The staff is so bend-over-backwards, sugary sweet, customer-focused to the point of making us Northerners very uncomfortable.

They even smile at you.

Well it’s not that they’d get replaced by machines. It’s that if you raised the minimum wage to 15 you end up in a position where the more qualified and capable employees would apply for jobs there and lower skilled workers would get prices out of the market.

No that’s just people from the North East being ****s. Literally every other region has friendlier customer service and just people in general. I moved out to Denver a year back and people thought I was always on the verge of assaulting them every day.

There is one in Westborough, MA. Quite tasty

Maybe in the past but with the availability of self-ordering kiosks, which are cheaper in the long run than several cashiers salaries at $15/hour and also more efficient, if push came to shove, it would be the kiosks that replace the cashiers. Not sure how far away technology is from replacing the cooks, though.

How long did it take you to develop Type I cognition? Just about everywhere is completely different than the Northeast from a cultural standpoint.

Cutting out all sugary drinks has helped tremendously. Haven’t had a coke since the Xmas holidays. I was shocked that just one soda practically doubles your recommended sugar allowance for the day.

Now, if we can just get BB to say something like

"I go to Chick Fil-A because it's tasty, KFC has turned into wildly overpriced hot garbage since the Colonel died, Popeye's chicken pieces are too small, and there aren't any Pollo Tropicals in the area"

maybe we can start a New England chicken revolution.

C'mon guys, only five pages of responses so far? We can do better!
