Interesting that he worked for BB long ago. All in favour.

Love the concept, but hate the the choice of sport. Taekwondo is probably the most useless "martial" art in existence. Ah well -- if it helps them with leverage, hand speed, and accuracy, then it's worth it. They don't need to learn how to kill the opponent, just how to disengage and tackle the quarterback. I'm cautiously optimistic, but it seems more like a fun team building exercise rather than a serious addition to their pass rush arsenal.

I'm guessing the guy is good at what he does. I'd think his consulting NFL teams includes referrals from teams and players who have used him in the past. If his teachings were useless, I'd expect his roster of teams and players he's worked with would be much smaller.

Regards,
Chris

Something is amiss in the patsfans universe if Sammy doesn't show up soon on this one...

Anyone else watching Cobra Kai on YouTube Red?

I like Johnny Lawrence more than Daniel LaRusso.
Binge watched it this weekend. Zabka is awesome. Macchio is great, too. This had "money grab trainwreck" written all over it, but those two and the writers really make it work.

Chris

HAWT SPORTS TAKE: Is this BB getting back at Brady by bringing his own crackpot into the fold? We don't know! And Bill's silence on this question speaks VOLUMES.

Yea it is a money grab but as long as its entertaining i'm ok with it.

I'm 3 episodes in. I'm enjoying it. I love the, "Cobra Kai is teaching candy-ass Generation Z how to fight" angle. LMAO.

Zabka is great.

Poor choice of a martial art to implement into football since TKD mainly involves kicking.
