OT Big Ben throws a fit because Steelers drafted a QB

Um, Brady just did the exact same thing. He even ran the kid out of town.
Hmm. I don't recall any such story...unless you buy into the Tom forced Kraft's hand in the FINAL YEAR of JG's rookie contract BS. That's not even close to comparable. I swear, some of you folks belong here in Pittsburgh. You'd fit right in, with the blind leading the blind.

True. I'm just saying, the guy is tremendously over rated. He has under performed to this point in his career, considering the talent he has always had around him. Hell, I hope he sticks around for 5 more years.
I hate him. I hope he retires and loses all his money, gets divorced and goes to jail but that's besides the point.

However, I do think he's had a HoF career. Numbers. SBs.

With that said he isn't even close to Tom on all levels. That's how spoiled we are and great Tom is.

With the exception of AB and LB I dont think he really has had great talent to lean on.

Hines Ward, Holmes, Parker, Wallace and Mendenhall were very good talents. Not great.

He has always had a better than average group of weapons surrounding him plus depth.

You're leaving out Miller (his binky) and Bryant, and Bettis, and Sanders, and Burress....but yes I agree, he's gonna get in the HOF which imo is a joke considering everything, but that's besides the point. My only objective, is to point out him and the great TB12, and all the other true greats have quite a space between them, and him. BR will never fall in the class of greatest of all time.

He's had a decent cast for sure.

Roeth isn't in the top 10 of all time.

Yes. Not great weapons.
He had OUTSTANDING weapons, considering how much money was invested in their elite defense. I see the fan bases fear. Everytime we discuss anything football, it always comes back to "we have 6!" Lol! They are ALL shocked they still only have 6!:D

I think the thing that might have pushed Ben over the top was Rudolf's response when he was told Ben was 36 years old... Mason said that he didn't know that... "he's almost my father's age."

P.S. those here who have commented that Pittsburgh fans are 100% Big Ben boosters, should glean their responses to his diva-like comments... they're even tougher than those in this thread.

Bathroom benny!! Lmaoooooo
Did ya hear about the one with Ben, and the hotel worker in Colorado before the bathroom escapade?! Lol! "My TV is broke" aaannnnddd then another rape. All coincidental I'm sure. I hope to God there are protests, the day he's "enshrined" what a disgrace.

Roethlisberger is one of these sports stars who is always better when reminiscing about the past or projecting future results. Actually watching him play in the present is usually a letdown for Steeler fans (otherwise known as deranged idiots.)

That's the D. The discussion is about the O

If this idiot doesn't make all Pat's fans appreciate what we've been blessed with in TB12, for all these years...well

It's all relative homey. He had great weapons, and an ELITE defense. Only reason he even made the playoffs. And again, this all relates to him as a QB...cause if the greats have weapons and that D...if you're really a great QB you take care of business. That's all.

No it's not. You started the conversation about BRs weapons on offense.

Expanding the discussion to include James Harrison and Casey Hampton are not part of the offense

He's always had good enough weapons to win SB's. There you go. And he couldn't do it. The D actually bailed him out.

AB is a great weapon
LB is a great weapon
Rashard Mendenhall is a good weapon
Plaxico Burrress is a good weapon
Hines ward is a hall of famer.
Roethlisberger has had as good weapons than anyone without a fivehead.

Mendenhall or BJGE...lol! Mendenhall was one of the best when he played. He wasn't just "good" I'd bet Miller gets into the joke known as the HOF, as well. You will not win. I know what he is.
