Tony Dungy's Blog, Thoughts on Spygate

There's a reason I put "Reasonable" thoughts in my first post. ******* like DonBlackmond ignored it but a trolls like that are expected, and It's Dungy's blog I'm sure all of you know what the purpose of the Blog is and considering this is the BIGGEST story in the NFL right now a response was warranted

Seems like your thread got the responses you desired. That's why you post on this board. You post something that is controversial to Patriots fans so you can come back and complain that people are unreasonably attacking Dungy after you've sufficiently baited them. Those who respond negatively about Dungy are then upbraided by you. Must make you feel real good. This is similar to the alleged blog of Dungy where these self-serving comments obviously differentiate between what's represented as his and the Colts owner's attitude contrasted with the implied attitudes of the Patriots' coach and owner.

Get a life, as you demonstrated you certainly don't have one now.

Baited? Seems like any news that isn't honoring or worshipping that Pats is enough "bait" for aholes to make ignorant statements

Oh, cut the shat. The only reason you post your Colts news on a Pats board is to get a rise out of people because dorks like you get off on that sort of thing. There is no other reason.

F you biatch. now go die:rocker:

If he's going to blog then he's going to catch crap about those opinions from those he talks about in a negative way. I would like to thank you for bringing it here though we may have missed it and we love the disrespect.

Dungy translation:

"We won ours without cheating, you didn't. We are not only a better team but better human beings."

Dungy needs to shut the **** up and stop giving the Pats bulletin board material. Hasn't he learned his lesson after the Chargers game?

So, who's Tony's BFF, anyway?

NO a response by Tony dungy is not warranted. He is nobody to comment on this. He is the Colts coach, he should worry himself only about the Colts. There's a reason why the patriots consistently beat the colts in the playoffs up until last year. Our players and coaches do not concern themselves with other team's aside from their preparation for the game coming up. PERIOD. They dont comment on the Vick case, they dont comment on anything, because they know it is NOT their place.

Every one's entitled to their opinion, but that doesn't mean you should voice your opinion to the public on any matter you so choose. DonBlackmond or whatever has an opinion on Dungy's personal life and his son, but he is WAY out of line to voice it.

It doesn't even matter if he was speaking pure truth, he doesn't need to comment on the issue and take shots at Mr. Kraft. Now get over yourself and quit trying to stir **** up

Thats being ridiculous, The Colts biggest rival has been accused and punished for cheating, the controversy is if the team had been doing that in previous years, Dungy is the head coach and he has the right to comment on any matter he wants to ESPECIALLY ones that have affected his team in the past or present so please get over thinking him making a comment was some kind of attack on the Pats he probably made about the most pc comment I've seen on the situation and your acting like he attacked the Pats & Kraft

dungy? he has polian do his dirty work....or rather polian lets dungy do the coaching. he is like schultz..hogans heroes...i know nothing...about his own teams dirt...
wow did they change the PI rules?

belichick would never let anyone else do that..his team ...he takes the hits.

I just gave you an example of a coach that made a comment that was more "pc".

Apparently pumping crowd noise through the soundsystem when the oposing team has the ball is honest play to Dungy.

What seems odd to me is that during the past week there were several mentions of the Colts cheating. Here are 3 examples that I can remember

1) Adam Schefter? When asked about other teams his response was that you do not have to look any further than Tony Dungy.

2) It was mentioned that at least 10 other teams are known to be filing illegally.

3) A couple of players on the Eagles came out during an interview and said that they know the Colts cheat. The only team that they have to keep changing signals for are the colts

4) There was story about the Colts perfecting the art of stealing defensive signals.

Why are these issued being ignored.

Oh yeah! They have sh**bag Polian on their side.

When another team is ACCUSED of cheating, and you say "I'm glad I play for an owner that wouldn't allow that". I dont give a damn if you have the truest of intentions, it's wrong. PERIOD. It can be construed in no other manner than an attack on Robert Kraft and the New England patriots. Rivals or not, he has no business commenting on it in that way. He could have said something like "I have no idea what the exact circumstances are for the patriots are but in light of this whole situation it does remind me of how much respect I have for irsay... blah blah blah"

You have your Colts blinders on, and I can see how you are forcing yourself to think that he is simply praising Irsay. But anyone reading it objectively will see that it doesn't come out like that. I have an opinion too, well it's more close to fact, the Colts Defense STILL SUCKS! Can't wait

You still haven't addressed why he's speculating Kraft's mindset though. Does he have a right to determine the thought process of Kraft?

Dungy is your basic passive-aggressive, self-righteous, born-again wacko. Pay him no heed.

holier than thou? The man stated his view and and opinion he didn't directly blast anybody, use names, or accuse the Pats of cheating other times even though he obviously knew they had been doing it. He praised his owner and his system so where is the major offense these Pat fans are taking? Did you expect him to say nothing?

Men talk directly. Men use names. He talks with valed sarcasm, and sanctamonious disdain. You posted it because it is obvious. Your argument is like Ricky Bobby saying, "No offence, but" and then being able say anything he wants simply because he said no offence.

All I can say is that I am glad that we have a coach who acts like a man. Your coach acts like a p*ssy.

I don't have any problems with what Dungy said. If people can take offense to the bland comments of the bland Dungy, I suspect you are looking for things to get upset about.

Dungy wants to be a man of faith; he wants to advertise his integrity; he wants to win "the right way." To you it may be pompous, but why is it any better or worse than my wants and desires: I want to provide for my family; I want more money in the bank; I want revenge sometimes; I look at women who aren't my wife with considerable lust; I want to win new business but only on terms my moral compass agrees to; I would never knowingly commit a crime; I say negative comments about airline employees.

Big deal. We're all human. To each his own.

We got caught cheating. The world wants to crow about it. What can we do? Enjoy the ride, I say. This is (perhaps) the catalyst for one of those rare defensive intensity seasons such as the 1985 Bears or 2000 Ravens.

Dungy has the right to say what he wants. You have the right to repeat it. People here have the right to respond to it. You don't have the right to say anything you want without consequences. That's how that pesky first amendment works.
