"Ted Cottrell seems to make the Chargers "D" weaker"

"Norv Turner - offensive genious - has 28 total points"

I did not like the hiring of Norv Turner when it happened and this game is the reason. IMO Marty would have had our team better prepared for this game.

The players are also to blame but they have looked flat. The offense (number 1 in scoring last year) has not looked good yet either in this game or the last.

I wish Marty was still here. My.02

im kinda missing our old coach marty now...he was great at motivating the team...i cant see norv emotionally yelling at his players to step it up like marty did. lol the only problem was that he didnt know how to win playoff games.

Re: Chargers' Fans are (Finally)Seeing the Light on Turner/Cottrell

I wish they'd ask me. I could have saved them an entire off-season of elevated hopes. Ted Cottrell had to file his retirement papers fuhcryinoutloud, because no one would hire him. Norval Turner, for all his offensive accolades, couldn't coach his peas off his knife if dinner depended on it. Much as I think of Marty Schottenheimer as a sillyperson (with his Coach Tony Robbins act), he would have motivated that Charger team into something more than just a first half goose egg.

Hmmm. When you hire a failed retread, whaddaya expect? I see AJ Smith coming under big heat this year.

There was no ability or desire to get a hot coordinator? No Tomkins/Whisenhut/LovieSmith/Gruden type out there worth hiring onto a 14-2 team?

Re: Chargers' Fans are (Finally)Seeing the Light on Turner/Cottrell

Lovely little newsprincess Andrea Kremer breathlessly revealed that Norv Turner was so afraid that Belichik had a video camera hiding in hyperspace in his locker room, that he refused to give his team any gameplan at all.

At least until until just before the game.

His team played as you would expect... They played like they HAD NO GAME PLAN.

I love this. She really was breathless too. How come we are the only ones who can see this stuff? Every pats fan must have really had this look, when they were doing that piece.

Unbelievable.

His gameplan was so secret not even the Chargers knew what it was.

Those are the chicken littles crying. Kinda reminds me of Pat fans last week whining about the cheating scandal.

The fact is, it's early, and we'll have to wait and see how the new coaching staff and the players adjust over the course of the season. It's way too early to be drawing any conclusions other than, we have some serious work to do.

I was checking out some of the other threads and look at this dope:

he actually wants people to call the Chargers and demand their money back, lol.
After looking at your link I checked out their forum and this post grabbed my attention :

"The Patriots looked beatable."

That was the whole post. I'd love to see unbeatable if that was beatable
