for true accuracy, players should be timed wearing their helmet and pads. and even then, it doesn't compare to football smarts, awareness, and technique.
 
It's just something to keep in mind next March and April when people are dismissing players out of hand because they run 4.56 rather than 4.42 (or whatever), in shorts, with no pads, no game adrenaline...

All I know is that the time between the ball touching his hands (in mid-air) and him crossing the goal line was about 8 seconds. That's ridiculous.
 
My intial reaction to his pick was of total shock and excitment. I posted it in the official Pats/Bolts thread.

I couldn't believe he outran the bolts receivers. I can't wait for Rodney and Seymour to return! This D will almost match the O!
 
Davis weighs 200lbs, Thomas 270lbs. Do you think he really wanted to catch him?

I do agree that football speed is different than track speed.
