Everyone - If anyone has noticed (probably not), I've refrained from predicting scores or saying that "the Pats are going to win." I have just lumped it on after the fact.

With what we've seen the last two weeks, the farthest I am going to go is that this is going to be a very special year. I suggest we all buckle up and hang on because its going to be one helluva ride.

yeah ... special for sure. I'm thinking of getting a second DVD Recorder
in case the one I have breaks during a game. Don't want to fail to
record every second of every game this year.

Until/unless we start getting killed by injuries, the losses this year will be very few and far between. We're scoring almost at will and we know the defense is good and will only get better. I'm not sure how good this team is but the worst case is that it's very, very good.

Barring injury, the team is clearly special.

However, is there another shoe to drop in the radio frequency situation? I am going to hold my breath for the next couple of weeks, because if BB is suspended for four weeks or something crazy, our season might go into the toilet. Yeah, all the teams do this stuff, but clearly we are the team being investigated.

What I am saying is that there are some circumstances right now that might not be solved by Brady to Welker, Brady to Moss, Touchdown!

Let me be the third on this thread, to agree with that assessment. Everyone is piling on the Patriots and quite frankly, I think its pissing them off. Two games and two blowouts, one against one of the top three teams in football. Asante, is just getting in game condition. In two games, we get a boost with Harrison back. Sanders has done well, and probably continues to get time. Two games after that we get Seymour back, both players should be in fairly good game shape when we face the Colts. Then we have the bye. Enjoy the ride, this will be one for the ages.

Barring injuries, I would say this looks like the best Pats team since Ive been watching ('76). Certainly offensively..

There was a quote, somewhere, that said that the radio frequency thing was investigated and was found to not be an issue.

Absolutely. Like you, I hate making predictions, because they have this way of being wrong (at least they do in my case!). The team has looked pretty darn good after just two games. The receivers look much more in tune with Brady than I would have expected. So far, so good.

Now all I need for is Drew Brees to get his s**t together for my Fantasy Football team.

Barring injuries, this looks to be the best Patriots team I have seen since I listened to that first game from Nickerson Field in 1960 on the radio when I was a junior in high school. It was a Friday night game, and the Broncos beat the Pats.

The Patriots have never looked better than they have looked in the past two games. Hold on folks...this has all the potential of being a truly memorable and remarkable season for the Pats.

Bring on the Bills.

The improvement at LB is staggering from last year to this year to me the key to the whole thing. Thomas puts Vrabel back outside, Thomas can dominate inside, wow.

And basically offensively, when you add a Hall of Fame WR and your leading receiver from last year got beat out by 5 this year, again, wow.

This is clearly the best Pats offense in this run and it is probably the best defense.

It's only two games. It's a long season. And as others have mentioned, injuries can change the dymamic very quickly. BB has said many times that you dont' know a teams character until Thanksgiving. So lets' just enjoy the ride and see what happens.

Its pretty amazing how the Pats can re-load like this...

You got it right, DB. I saw it coming once Adalius and our new receiving corps were signed. And to think we have in the wings: Seymour, Rodney, Mike Wright, Troy Brown, Chad Jackson and Bam Childress, plus spot-role guys like Kyle Brady and Seau, while James Sanders and Jarvis Green get steady reps -- YOWZA!!!

Went Thomas went down--mercifully, for only a minute--it put all the camera silliness into perspective for me. Any big-time injury would be about a million times worse than the past week. I would love just one season to be relatively injury free. If we can have that, special won't begin to describe this season.

I don't think 16-0 is out of the question for these guys. Other than the Colts & Bengals who can matchup with them offensively? And by the time we play them we'll be getting Harrison & Seymour back.

We play the Bengals in 2 weeks, Rodney and Richard won't be back for that - but they just gave up 51 to the Browns for God's sake.

What a freakin' GEEZER!
Me, I was a sophomore, youngest in my class.

Agree with DaBruinz et. al. that this is the best Pats team I've ever seeen take the field. I only hope we have the same contributors healthy that 1st week of February.

I was right. Its a very special year. Tons of records (team and personal) have fallen. Including the ONLY team to go 16-0 during the regular season. And yes, that is a bigger accomplishment that the 14-0 that the Dolphins put up in 1972.

Out of curiousity, what is the strength of schedule of the teams that the Pats faced WITHOUT including the losses to the Patriots?
