Patriots now have 2 first round picks, what to do?

This does indeed really change our possibilities for the draft. The Top 10 is within reach; perhaps just the 2 firsts. A couple of picks higher would be available by adding another pick.

2018 NFL Draft Trade Value Chart

Depending on the draft, the chart tends to fail at the very top. This year, there seems to be lots of competition to trade up, primarily because of the 4 QB's.

Theoretically, we could give our first 3 picks for Cleveland's 4th. They may very well be willing. We may be willing if our QB of the future is there at 4.

Okay. I'll ask the question that rarely even seems to cross the minds of most fans ...

How likely is it that [insert name of binky prospect here], who may only be obtained by packaging x number of picks to trade up, will provide more value to team than the two or more prospects who might be acquired if the trade isn't made?

Hopefully snag a quality QB prospect. Maybe a LT or an athletic linebacker with the other pick.

Or do we cash them in for a boatload of 2s and 3s?

Pats rarely trade up very far. And I don't see them giving up both of their 1sts to move up. If they can trade #23 plus a mid round pick to move up for a guy they covet, I could see that though.

Or do we cash them in for a boatload of 2s and 3s?

My dream would be Allen plummets out of the top 5 and we go up and get him.
Any chance of going up and getting Chubb or trading for Clowney?
Also coughing up a mid round pick for Josh Gordon.
