BGC 2018 NFL DRAFT/PATRIOT-TYPE THREAD

Looks like my kind of draft I'm also not opposed to sacrficing 31 for Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson is one of the few QBs in this draft that i really like, think he has all the talent to be great here.

I'm not a fan of lots of the lower QBs, theres something missing there for me personally, its not like Dak where he had the leadership and a fairly strong arm.

I'd like us to take LVE with our first rounder really, unless someone falls to us.

QB is not a huge need but would be nice to sort it this years draft but if Brady is going to play till 43 ( i took the middle) i would be more inclined to take a QB next year.

I think were going to heavily address the Defensive this year and i can see us double dipping on some areas.

I'm becoming extremely enamoured with Logan Woodside. His potential really excites me, a few years learning under Brady and I think he'd be one of the best in the league.

The only thing that scares me is how he'll likely have a propensity to roll out of the pocket on some deeper throws. It's worked for Brees and Brees has stayed relatively healthy in his career. But, at that size, it's still a concern. I do agree, however, that he's quickly becoming my favorite QB in this draft that's within reach.

I feel some team won't give us a chance we need to take him at 31 if we want him but I badly want linebackers.

I def hear this but linebackers are subtracted nowadays more often than not in today's passing game. If we got someone falling late I'd think about it early.

I know some of these are doubles tryna delete & clear what I have

I never liked the idea of getting these coaches who have been away for years or longer. Game changes so much. Almost feel bad for Raider fans. Team looked liked a legit contender 1.5 year ago.

Reminds me of a great quote. Something like "If you don't like change, you'll like irrelevance even less".
